Good one! The Wheatland Ferry.  I took that on my way to LINFIELD  for the first time just for the heck of it. Orange County boy had only ridden the Balboa Ferry. (No cable there.) Wait!  I guess I rode the Tom Sawyer rafts too!

Somehow I don't think the Wheatland Ferry was quite what they expected when their Garmin told them to get on the ferry. It is more like the Tom Sawyer raft at Disneyland.
Two words:  THE STREAK

....LOL...they probably thought they had landed out in the middle of the Western Frontier/Oregon Trail! Maybe they could hop a wagon train over to Mac!  :D  Great guide work coco!

Regarding expectations of where and what I offer this...
Years ago while visiting relatives in New York City, my Uncles friend had been
told that I was from..."out west".  The friend then asked
me "What part of California I was from".
"THE METTLE'S IN THE MEN!"

It's finally here!  Fall Camp opens up tonight for our 'Cats.  Approx. 145 'Cats will be showing up tonight for the annual family BBQ to kick off the season.  WC11 will be working hard to bring you guys the scoops and info from camp.

Wildcat11, be sure to give Brodie Unger a hard time if he's there. It's his first college coaching job.

I like that rule.

I was going to make the bar-b-q to act as chaperone for the girlfriend thingy, but am not going to be able to do so.  8)

Just when I think I may be posting too much if I am concerned about the LINFIELD Qb position I hear on NPR that the 17 week fantasy football league thingy is a $9 billion industry!

Oh yeah...the 44-41 game....what team was that against?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that seemed to be the day that Linfield's turnover plague began.  It seems to me that every game that the Wildcats have lost since then has been directlly due to turnovers....yes? no? maybe?
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

criswyly

Okay...so I'm hoping that 2009 is the year that the turnover plague ends.

Yep. I wish they play more consistent. I think Boehme will play a lot better this year.

ADvantage Catdome:  Around The CatdomeO'sphere and 2009 Opening Night

Was great to sit in on the opening night of Catdome Football 2009. Been about 20 years since the last time. Was great to visit with some old friends and meet new ones. Fun to see all the freshmen (looks to be some talent there), their families as well as the veterans. The Cat's schedule is a big challenge this year but I expect the coaches and players will rise to the occasion.

Go Cats!
