Thanks for your good work, as always, WC11. I'm looking forward to reading more about camp.
Nice pic of the island boys, too.

Regarding the turnover plague it seems to be fumbles more than interceptions. Am I wrong? That's what killed us against Whitworth the last few years.

All right, time to break up the Linfield board monopoly.  Some news out of Salem, where the Bearcats posted their 2009 roster just yesterday.  Willamette has a little over 130 players in camp, including a huge freshman class.  The Lemon brothers have indeed transferred (though they're now listed as "Brandon" and "Mikey").  Terrell Malley, a highly-anticipated QB/WR//RB/CB out of Roosevelt High in PDX, is listed at flanker.

Speaking of flanker, I still have no idea how we're going to replace Merben Woo. ???

Hey Wildcat11, Do you have a Wildcat photo that would be a good desktop background for my computer?

Based on the neck gear on the one picture, I assume we've identified the island boys coco is refering to.  Mrs. Warthog doesn't believe any of them are as handsome as coco, but it does look like there may be some football players in the group.  8)

I think we had 5 interceptions a couple years ago in a close loss at Whitworth. But the last couple years we haven't had that many interceptions from what I know.

BearcatPress:  My incomplete count of returning Bearcat starters shows 4 on offense and 7 on defense.  (That's from one game's list).  Who among last year's subs do you think will step into starting roles?

Will somebody explain why the Lemon brothers at Willamette...I must have missed something somewhere....or is this one of those off the board issues.

Aw, Warthog.

Thank you.
Please tell Mrs. Warthog that I completely agree with her about Coco's good looks.
Good luck to the Knights this season.

Brandon was not happy with his playing time at the end of the season.  Decided he didn't want to be part of the program anymore and transferred.  End of Story as far as I'm concerned.  Best of luck to him and his brother.
