QuoteCurious to see what their Linfield/HSU picks will be this week.

Ditto, but any one who votes with their head and not their heart would have to pick the Texans.

Anyone who believes LINFIELD can beat anyone in the 'dome , if they don't give it away like recent big games, will be looking for a friendly wager.

I'm looking for a wager.

Is this why you picked your moniker?

D.O.C., you are right on.   If Linfield has zero turnovers and can play tough 2nd half defense, they have a good chance.   The turnover plague since 2002 has to be stopped.

Wildcat offense also needs to be very potent.   It may take 40+ points to win.

Should be great game, but challenging.

GO CATS!  GO!

ROCKETMAN!

I like it. It has a nice ring to it. I predict an outstanding season for him.

Welcome, FarAwayCat.

QuoteThe turnover plague.

You mean like committing four turnovers on the road against an opponent you probably should have beaten?

Is this something that happens to defending NWC champions?  Is there any way I can blame Linfield and/or Whitworth for this?

(According to my Medieval Europe texbook, it was in fact rats that carried the plague . . . ) ;D

There ya go--blame Whitworth-- :)  Of course, Linfield has had this plague for 3 years now so it either doesn't discriminate against NWC champs or else it kills you very slowly.....
Go Cats!

Beat the plague!  Just give me solid fundamental football and I can handle the outcome, whatever it may be.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

I suggest that BearcatPress obtain the services of a Plague doctor and see if el medico can keep the 'rats from infecting the Bearcats this weekend. ;)

Not to put too fine a point upon it,but "The bubonic plague is an infection of the lymphatic system, usually resulting from the bite of an infected flea, Xenopsylla cheopis (the rat flea). The fleas are often found on rodents, such as rats and mice, and seek out other prey when their rodent hosts die."
It wasn't the rats it was the fleas on the rats! :D

Bearcats actually eat rats, among other things.
