My posting the post about #28 probably wasn't the right thing to do, but I just wanted the people to know some things about him. I realize Linfield is not a blow your horn school, but I believe we have to pump thise kids up a little. This got me to thinking. Being from way down here in California, I don't know squat about any of the players on the team. What do you guys think about posting some info on the players. If someone knows something about a player, post it. That way, when I go to a game I can say, Great play Aaron, or whoever. I forgot to commend the team on a great win over Hardin Simmons, so Here it is, Great Game, Good Execution. Keep it up.

Hey man....I think you're doing a great job. I love to hear about kids and how they made it up the ladder...good work to them and you for being supportive!!

Regarding this years roster, I notice there are 22 players from Hawaii, it sounds like the "Hawaiian Pipeline" is strong. By comparison, I checked the 2007 media guide, and it lists 9 players from Hawaii. Good thing that state doesn't have any non D1 football programs.

And that's a good thing, if for no other reason than the fun of listening to announcers try to say their names.

You keep right on posting, Grouchygramps. You're among friends here.

Safe travels to the team.

Gramps - everything criswyly, R&P, D O.C., Blue, and coco have said to you is right on.  Supporting your grandson is never something to apologize for.  On behalf of all the lurking Bearcats, welcome to the board, and best of luck to #28.

Except on October 24. ;)

Looking forward to this weekend's game.  Great pregame write up 11. Although i'm hoping this game has a score that resembles something more of a pummeling than only a 10 point victory.
From what I can tell it looks like the internet vid will be free.  On that note, I might ask why it is that Linfeild charges $12.  Why are other teams (Whitworth and Oxy are the only two i know) able to do it without charging?  Are they able to get more advertising or do they have a larger budget?  has Linfield ever considered that an option?

GHC, your loss of words surprises all of us, but thankfully it didn't last long.

RFB, isn't marriage about compromise? Maybe you can make one. I'm sorry we can't make the trip, as I'd really like to meet some of you posters.

I hope all the boys are over the little owies and such, and able to suit up. The kids who played left no doubt that they can fill those positions, however.

GO CATS! Bring back a win from Occidental! GO ROCKETMAN!

Sorry to disappoint but I can't flake on family that I don't see very often for a Linfield/Oxy football game.

Of course marriage is about compromise but I know where to pick my battles and this isn't one of them. It might be different if Redlands was involved here but they aren't.

When I look at the option of the couch for a week VS  football, tailgate action and hangin with the boys.

I just think your skirt blew up in the wind and you can't see straight.

Cmon now take the couch and football my man
