What is the status on Anderson this week ?    Oh wait a minute-- Who Cares

...he couldn't do a thing last week vs Willamette...in fact Whitworth's Offense pretty much looked like crap the whole game. And their Defense wasn't any better....

BearcatPress....that's my story on the game. It wasn't that Willamette was any good. (Posting material for the small minds)

I noticed how you cut out my last quote....that this is posting material for "small minds"...... ::)
And I did PM you on how I thought the Men"s Choir did an awesome job on the National Anthem  before the game!

Island Cat:
How'd you like the double uprights on the goalposts?

GO CATS! 54 IN '09!

R&P: Your guess is as good as mine. I couldn't quite figure that one out too! Maybe it's for practice and they forgot to take it down? Or, maybe if you get it inside the outside posts, that was close enough? Oh, they also use it when playing doubles?

Thanks Island cat, now I have to explain all that to the twins .. ;)

Looks like all the old  P-Rats have jumped  the sinking ship before the big "RAT KILLING " this time :D

Go Cats,
Go BIG D

Ooops, my bad desertcat!
Tell the twins that in Hawaii, getting a lei is a symbol of respect and admiration.
I'm glad you made it home alright, that's a long drive. I gotta hand it to you though, "showin' some love" and support for all the boys, all these years.

Thank you for the kind words IslandCat. Enjoyed our brief chat. Turns out my favorite image from the game happened to have #93 in it. ;D

I was hoping it's the one of the sack, since I missed it, but i didn't see it in the gallery. Which photo # was your favorite, I'm going to have to order one now, hehehe?

Until we meet again.

PS: I got on the field with other parents after the game to present gifts and lei's to the island boys (typical), and we couldn't believe the condition of the field! I kept tripping over cracks, bumps and holes. I was wondering why the grass hadn't been cut, and I know why! They were trying to hide the terrible condition. This has got to be the worst. It's a blessing our boys weren't injured.

Island Cat,

Sorry I didn't get to meet you but I have to say that I thought the Menlo's sod was in better shape than SOU's!  The 'Cats do get to play on a fine sod field up at Whitworth.  The Rats take great pride in their grass!  :)

Yeah, I'm sorry I missed you too WC11. I wanted to tell you personally, what a great job you're doing, and to thank you for all your support. Linfield is fortunate to have someone like you.

Mahalo,
Island Cat

PS. I hope the Rats like the taste of their grass too, 'cause this weekend they'll be eating some!  ;)

Hey, is this the first time Menlo actually had a logo on their helmets? Always thought they were copying Penn State, but that picture says otherwise. Occidental needs to do something, too. That plain black helmet is boring.

I found this interesting---apparent Wildcat TD and most of the "fans" aren't even watching the game...

Well I guess when you're a Wildcat opponent, there's nothing new about watching the Wildcats score another TD against your team.
