Let's pony up the $$$ and let the Cat fans that can't attend watch the game online.

GO CATS!!

So, I'm not quite sure I understand how this works. How was it that UWW had video today?  My interpretation was that if the NCAA is not going to provide video then the host school has the option.  How much revenue or fees must be paid to the NCAA?
Anybody have a layman's term explanation?

Perhaps it was greater demand?   ;)
Seriously, Monmouth/St Thomas, Albright/Alfred and a few others, all it seems on Penn Atlantic, had video as well.  Maybe that was the reason.

SHOULDN'T SAY THAT," TO

umhb-central had video, and I think it was central's regular game feed.  does linfield normally offer video?  If so, do they charge for the feed?
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

How far is McMinville from Portland. Any decent hotels to stay at in Mcminville.

GREAT win by the CATS today.... what a total team effort....

Offensively I love the way that they are able to take advantage of what is given them... and the O-Line was once again outstanding.....

Defensively we brought pressure and was outstanding in coverage...

Time to take another step in the growth of becoming a championship team... I was always taught and coached my teams that it is really special to be playing on Thanksgiving weekend and now these guys will get a chance to experience that....

GO CATS!!!

Wait...wait...let me get a pen so I can write this down.  So the deeper you get into the playoffs the better the teams get?  Sheese, and all this time I thought the deeper in the playoffs the more teams like Rowan you get to play.  Thanks for the enlightenment.   :)

On another note...congrats to the entire Linfield program and community today.   Loved the way the defensive front got after Toilolo today and the way Linfield ran with the rock.

K4,

Thanks for rolling with it so well this week and looking forward to making the trip down to kick off the 2010 season.  You're always welcome on this board.  Best of luck to your guys during the off season.

UMHB defense was uncharacteristically porus in the latter stages of game against Central. They seemed to be in prevent mode & rarely if ever blitzed. That's not the UMHB I know. They will have to play better at the Catdome or it could be a long day. Wish I could make the trip to McMinnville & my old stomping grounds.

Great win, Linfield. It always surprises me how a St. John's fan would start talking trash on this board without anything to back it up. Yes, the Cats are 0-3 against SJU in the playoffs, but the last two games in this decade were close. You just can't take anything for granted in the playoffs, no one is invincible.

Notice we have a couple MHB fans on this board. Are the Crusaders still running the same run based attack we saw in Salem back in 2004? I remember the Cru also had that dangerous receiver, think he was 27 years old or something.

Wow...and as best I could see...no serious injuries.

Hi Crudbdad.

McMinnville is about an hour and half drive from Portland International.  Being that if you were coming in on Friday, it may be a little less traffic and you may be able to make it in an hour and 10 minutes.  We are about 45 Miles SW of Portland International.  Pretty easy drive too.

If you want to stay in town I would recommend the Comfort Inn and Suites or the Red Lion Inn.  The Best Western Vinyards Inn is also pretty good and they are all less than 5 minutes from the Catdome.

Both the Comfort Inn and Red Lion are also just 2-3 minutes from downtown where all the good eating and drinking establishments are.  Try Golden Valley Brew Pub for dinner.  Right down the street is a good old watering  hole know effectionatley as the 'D' short for Deluxe.  Some fans meet there Friday evening and some go to the Elks.

If you come out hope you have a great trip
