Good News!  The UMHB and Linfield game will be broadcasted free.  Thanks to Spirit of 86 for breaking this news via his twitter feed.

One question...

How big is the Linfield server for all of the D3 fans that will be watching the only game in D3 by that time of the day?

Only UWW-IWU  and Tommies vs Coe are in the Central Time Zone.

Lever Street

You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

'Cats, prepare for one hell of a game -- these guys are good -- very quick, and very well coached.

I don't know how much, if any, the coaching staff has changed but the one thing that stood out above all else from playing UMHB the first time was their ability to make adjustments (at least their defense did). I can remember them changing their game plan,  going through 3 or 4 significant  changes throughout the course of that game. It took us most of the third quarter and 1/2 the 4th to make our adjustments (we happen to implement the last one on Jenkin's TD catch). I would expect nothing but the same this time around, which will be hard for most of us to track. But if you see our offense stalling for more than 2 possessions, you can bet UMHB adjusted their schemes and we haven't countered yet.

Not coincidentally, UW Whitewater was the best team at this that I ever played against.

It's ONLY Tuesday :'(

However, I went to see "Blindside" last night.  Not an on the "edge of your seat" drama, but it is a true story that everyone can walk away from feeling good about and will inspire many to similar action.

Prediction
No turnovers on Saturday for Cats equals solid win over a tough UMBH by +7......

I know this is a bit belated, but in the category of better late than never...

I was hoping for a different outcome, but wanted to extend congratulations to the Wildcats on their first round win over the Kingsmen.  I didn't make the trip, but I've talked to a few folks who did, and they came away extremely impressed with the Cats.

Sounds like the OxyBob.com forecast was correct - Cal Lu was more of a game control team this year, and when they got down big early it was too much to overcome.  I am looking forward to the rematch next September down here in Thousand Oaks - I'll guarantee a gay day temp between 75-108.  ;)

Good luck to the Cats the rest of the way, we'll be pulling for our west coast brethren, hopefully for several weeks to come!
fixed--summer doesn't end till November down here :)

Don't know MC...here in Rancho Cucamonga Thursday forecast 81 degrees..sure wish summer would end so we could get into the low 70's  ;D

one thing: looks like purple is the color of football royalty. lots of purple in the play-offs.

Hello to all the OG posters here on DIII.com. keep up the good work.

I love Rancho Cucamonga. I could go to work for the Quakes.

The NCAA doesn't allow pay-per-view feeds of playoff games, so it had to be free or nothing.
