What can I say that hasn't been said? 90% of the purple flag tailgate crew watched the game in my father-in-laws home office in Tulsa, OK, and much rejoicing took place! (Missouri also beat ku which is always nice). I was a bit worried, but the defense put forward an effort that will live a long time in linfield football lore. By the time the last fans were leaving the 'dome, I already had my plane ticket booked for next week. I look forward to seeing 11, GHC, tux and all of the regulars. Go cats!!!!!
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

GO CATS!!!

I'm sure Wildcat11 will be getting us up to speed soon on what we can expect to see from St. Thomas....I have no idea what type of offense/defense they run, who their go to guys are...etc?   ???

What do we call this team, PPj and all the other parents don't get mad, but this has to be one of best un...overl...noname teams in Linfield History. picked 3rd in the NWC, taking down the best of the best of D3 all year,,, many on the road is just "fantastic"!!

You said it best.   This is the best "no-name" Wildcat team I have ever seen.

This game  turnaround ranks close to the 1984 Championship game reversal.   WOW!   One of the VERY best Wildcat wins ever!

Linfield opponents: look out anyone!   54 straight winning seasons means something special.    As my neighbor said recently, "There is something magical about Linfield football"

St. Thomas next up.

I just hope a bunch of students, and the band, show up next Saturday; they are missing something important about college.    And, college is a very short part of one's life.

They are a run first team but can pass pretty well.  They have a big RB who gets most of the carries (and a smaller guy who gets most of the rest of the carries) and one small (and I'm assuming fast) reciever who gets most of the passes.  Their skilled guys are all pretty young which means they may only get better the next few years.  Their Defense is solid but not spectacular based on statistics (but one could say that of the Cats as well).  Like the Cats, they gain more turnovers than they give which has been a big part of their success.  Should be a great matchup for the Cats...
Go Cats!

This is a big "if":

If the cats take care of UST and WW takes care of the tigers  how many linfield supporters would be making the trek out ot the Perk for what would be probably an unbelievable game?

If there is any room left on the Linfield bandwagon, I would like to jump aboard.

thats why I said "if",  I am sure that the players and coaches of both teams are not looking ahead.  But as a fan I can look ahead all I want and so can you.

Lots of items lined up for the ADvantage today.  We'll have post game interviews for defense and offense and three news reports from the Portland area channels.  I'll post up a notice when they are on the blog.

I didn't sleep very well last night either and woke up early too...but it was because I was just too pumped up from yesterday.  What an incredible performance.
