I'm on the bandwagon....I'm really tired of UWW and MT. playing in Salem every year.  If any school can break that trend its Linfield.  Go Cats.

Wow. Congrats on a huge win. Turnovers were the difference today, as they usually are. Good luck the rest of the way. Hopefully the third time will be the charm.

QuoteIf the cats take care of UST and WW takes care of the tigers  how many linfield supporters would be making the trek out ot the Perk for what would be probably an unbelievable game?

Game is scheduled for McMinnville.

We passed the 10 gallon hat yesterday and sent it on to the NCAA to insure another home game should you make it.

Congrats Linfield, that was one heck of a performance.  Good luck vs. St Thomas.

Cat fans:
Was there any local tv coverage of the game? Was it being telecast in the area? Back in 2005 I purchased a broadcast dvd from CCTV located in Salem, Oregon of the Linfield vs. Occidental game. If they are available this may be a game that some fans would want to buy.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

I don't know how many cameras they had working the game but I noticed two airlifts (which was unusual) on the Visitor side of the field.  The Cats Eye crew did a magnificent job on the instant replays and coverage of the game.  The only unfortunate thing of the entire coverage was we didn't have a camera shot of the stadium showing the nation the passionate Linfield faithful 'raising the roof' as the Big D made play after play and decimated the visiting Cru.  That would have been a TV shot that would have sent shock waves around the D3 nation.  The Catdome fans are the best of the best and  you could hear the volume of their responses on the audio (which really needs to get fixed by next weeks broadcast).  The audio on radio only was fine but when it was blended with the video it was just not coming thru well at all.  I have watched other Cats Eye productions where the audio was fine so obviously someone just missed one of the plug ins yesterday.  In spite of that suggestion, it was by far and away the best Cats Eye production I have seen and far better than I've watched on other D3 sites. Great job Cats Eye crew!!!

GO CATS.....ONE GAME AT A TIME!!!

I'm sure Wildcat11 will be getting us up to speed soon on what we can expect to see from St. Thomas....I have no idea what type of offense/defense they run, who their go to guys are...etc?   ???
They are a run first team but can pass pretty well.  They have a big RB who gets most of the carries (and a smaller guy who gets most of the rest of the carries) and one small (and I'm assuming fast) reciever who gets most of the passes.  Their skilled guys are all pretty young which means they may only get better the next few years.  Their Defense is solid but not spectacular based on statistics (but one could say that of the Cats as well).  Like the Cats, they gain more turnovers than they give which has been a big part of their success.  Should be a great matchup for the Cats...

I remember playing the Cobbers in 2005. They were a very solid team and played Linfield very tough. And we all know about the Johnnies....the MIAC plays great football so we better sharpen up our claws because it's going to be a battle next week at the CatDome!

On the audio-the quality of mine (on the video) was fine but it was very low--had to crank up the volume but was otherwise fine.  FWIW
Go Cats!

It's a possibility, you could check the CCTV website, for contact information. I could see how CCTV would be interested, since a number of Linfield players are from the Salem area.
