Hey!  I think that I know that place. Isn't that where the Luray Caverns are? Tourist guy here took a drive from my hotel room at Charles Town Race Track and passed Shenandoah University on the way, right?

Olinemom

Absolutely.  My brother's house is about 1/2 mile from there. My mom's apt (the land of no computers) is about 1 mile and my brother, the town manager, to whom I'm giving grief because of the lousy snowy street conditions, is about 2 miles.  I shall be attempting to get there tomorrow.  Mom and I have spend many happy times at the Charles Town emporium where my other brother lives about 1/2 mile away.  Small world.  Hope you took the occasion to go in and see the caverns.  I may be prejudiced, but they are beautiful!!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

That's great that you were interviewed, Olinemom. I didn't get to see the game, so don't know if you were on TV. Keith and Pat did a good job.

You stay safe getting around tomorrow. Virginia sounds like Minnesota right now.

Merry Christmas!

I did watch the game and at one point they did show a tailgate, mostly the food cooking, which I thought was probably the Stone Station because it was a big grill with lots of meat on it.  They didn't mention it by name though.  And I didn't hear anything about the brownies nor did I see any footage of an interview with Olinemom.

Congrats to the Cats!  From off the radar screen to #3 in the nation in both the AFCA and D3  final polls.  Great job guys you clearly deserved the honors!  You worked hard and proved that you were among the nations elite teams.  Look at the list of other teams in the Top 25 and you took them down one by one.  The entire Cat Nation is very proud of you.

I've been to the Luray Caverns and I concur with Olinemom, if you are in the area be sure to stop in and do a little spelunking.

OK...so....the chemistry can never be the same for next year so we should not try.
All the preparation CAN be duplicated - and then some.
It is going to be very tough to break that next ceiling to get into the Stagg - and win.

I hereby vow I will save $20.00 a week for flights to playoff games the NCAA cannot tell me I need until the Saturday night after the game.
I will walk at least 30 minutes a day minimum.
I will get to the gym at least two days a week and once I'm there, pretend I have something at stake for the team and actually break a sweat.

I will chant, pray, roll bones or whatever to have another minimum injury season in 2010....major reason for 2009 success.

Congrats to the Cats!  From off the radar screen ...

I keep hearing this claim, as if somehow there were no votes for Linfield in the preseason poll, or somehow we didn't rank Linfield 29th in the 1-238 Kickoff ranking. Linfield wasn't off the radar at all. They weren't in the Top 25 but they were very squarely ON the radar, people.

Pat, I don't totally dissagree with you, or 64.  I think we were on the radar, but just a blip.  After all, we weren't picked to win our own conference at the beginning of the year, by no fault of D3.  It's just the way things looked back then.  Realisticly I think there were 8 or 10 teams that you would really have said had a good shot at being there at the end. Just my thinking, no slight intended.
