Thanks Tuxguy. I stopped by the tailgate for awhile, but you had not arrived by the time I left for the stadium.

Snuck out of the Land of no computers to the local library to wish everybody in CATLAND a Happy New Year.  I hope 2010 will see you all in Salem.  I would absolutely love to show you'all some good ole Southern hospitality as you showered me with great hospitality when I was there!!  Have a healthy and fun New Year.  I'm off to the Caribbean! (of yeah, it's with students, but at least I am not in charge!  I get to be one of the children!!) :) :) :)

You have a good time, Olinemom. You'll be warmer than we are here. We have snow!

Mrs. C said she sent you pictures of your ship.

Happy New Year to all the players, posters and fans.

I see we have La Verne on the schedule for next year. They did not win a game this last season but interestingly only lost to Occidental by 1 point and we know how good they were. Can I assume that they were the only team that could fill that game slot for us that week or could there be some other reason?

Let's see, if we can beat Lewis and Clark, Pacific and La Verne that should auger well for keeping the streak alive at 55.

Hey, Cat 11 - are you going to do a Stagg recap video this year?
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Got my hands on the 09 highlight tape.  Santa (Wildcat 11) got me a copy--it is awesome.  I am sure the players will really like this years clips.

Just thought I would jump in and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Glen and the tailgate crew
The Tukster and all of the BWC boys
Coach Smith and this years Cats--  Thanks for another great year--It was awesome

Ole blue is put up for another winter, as for me I am getting ready for another baseball season with the Tides.  I think extra ab work is on the list after this holiday season of food  abuse.

See you all next fall--be safe, take care, see you all at the Catdome in 2010

Phone it in !!!

Kitchen,

I was really busy with getting Linfield's 09 highlight DVD in the can so I recorded the Stagg on DVR with the thought of getting around to it in early Jan.

Then, I started having issues with my HDMI signal from my Dish Network DVR.  I had the Dish guy come out this past Monday and he upgraded our DVR. On his way out the door he said "BTW, I forgot to tell you that when we switched out your box you lost all of your previous recorded matieral."  Do'h!  So my copy of the Stagg is gone in the wind.  Sorry Kitchen, I really enjoy putting those together but my source material is gonzo.   :(

wildcat11:
Wow! Thanks for posting the Decade stats. They are very impressive. I am glad my son was a member of the 2002-2006 Cat teams.
Looking back on it, my wife and I would never trade those years for anything. All the traveling back and forth from Arizona, the driving from Portland (going through Dundee!), and the trips to the Oregon coast on Sunday were well worth it to watch our son play on Saturday.

p.s. Couldn't leave out the shopping trips to Winco to keep the boy loaded with groceries!  :D

I hope everyone had a safe New Years. See you all next season. GO CATS!
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Hopefully, the Vikings will ditch those hideous black uniforms from the Glanville era, and return to their previous look. It will be interesting to see Pacific's uniform set, thought the helmet logo would be better. I liked Lewis & Clark's uniform better when the Pioneers had the orange helmet of a few years ago. Southern Oregon had a much better uni earlier in the decade. Puget Sound had a sharp uniform in the early 1990s, with green and yellow as the color scheme and a couple of axes adorned the helmet.
