Thanks Pat!

GHC, I'll look for you!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Just over 24 hours until kickoff of the Wildcats swatting of the pesky Bearcat fly! No high school game tonight, what am I going to do? Guess I'll have to watch Rutgers - Louisville on TV.

Downtown, is the action for any playoff game at the Catdome? I'd like first dibs on the quarterfinals, Dec. 3. Especially if it's St. John's.

I agree - the BEARcats WILL LEAVE NO DOUBT . . .  that the BEARCATS' offense, defense, and special teams will be the better team on Saturday!  GO BEARCATS!

I love this from the Daily Dose:
QuoteTop 25 team most likely to have the game in hand by 10:00 of the first quarter: Linfield. Next question.
:o

But then River will wake up and reality will hit him hard, just like the Wildcat D will be hitting the Bearcats.  ;D

I see on the front page article that RPI and Ithaca are having their games webcast.  According to the Ithaca website www.xmievents.com is doing their game.  We Cats should take a page out of their book and get the Cat playoff games webcast at the Catdome.  I'm certain with all of our new technology in the press box we could make it happen. Think what an opportunity to spread the Linfield message around the world in the packed Catdome during the playoffs. What a great recruiting opportunity for future Cat student/athletes.  Some of our posters close to the athletic department should put a "bug" in someones ear.  If they pull it off in the East we should certainly be able to do the same in the West and not miss this opportunity to let the nation watch the National Champions march thru the playoffs!
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Two years ago, our high school did a webcast of the final game of the season. It was a 4 camera prodution with students manning the cameras and video equipment. A recent football grad did color with our former hoops coach (who had done some radio play by play) doing the play by play. My self and a student manned a computer and did a running stat / drive chart. It was a blast. The down side was the video resolution had to be reduced as we almost brought the district's server to its knees we had so many people tuning in. Our video production teacher is a PLU grad.

Wildcat 64.....you're beating your head against the wall on any video webcast of a playoff game.  The NCAA would control that for starters, not Linfield.   Add to that it probably wouldn't be free.    If memory serves me correct, St. John's had a web camera at their football field and the NCAA made them turn it off during playoff games.

HS action.....went to see McMinnville last night, first time I've seen them all year long (I'm on the field at other venues officiating on Friday nights).  Grizzlies scored twice in the last three minutes to beat Grant 30-26 in a rather improbably comeback.

Over to do my playoff game on the field in the bit, grab a bite with my crew and then go to Salem for the game.   My therapist tells me I need more football in my life and I'm doing my bit to keep to a strict schedule of therapy which includes more and more football......

The H.S. game last night had to be just what your therapist ordered.

A most purrfect SoCal day. And I'm inside. Go figure.
I'm in and out of broadcasts at 12n PST.
The streaming video Union/RPI brought me into the 21st century. LINFIELD would look so fast on something like that east of the Rockies would be tapping their screen.
