ADvantage Catdome = Please bring football back to George Fox!

My heart is still pounding after watching the clip of that flag football game. Pretty exciting stuff!

It looks like that Yoro guy at Pacific coached some of our defensive players at St. Louis in Hawaii. That was before he was a defensive "consultant" at Waipahooooo.

Just a little bit of recruiting news to kick off that part of the offseason ... according to Sprague HS coach Robin Hill, First Team All-CVC tackle Nick Rhoten will be playing at Willamette next year.  The statement is buried near the end of the article.

Just curious if any of you NWC guys might be headed to Vegas for the USACoaches Clinic.  I'm looking forward to hearing Mark Speckman speak among others.

As many know I have been a great rooter for UWW at the last few STAGG Bowl games.  There is one player from that family who needs our help at this time.  AJ Raebel, a linebacker for UWW from 2004 - 2007, is fighting an aggressive kind of testicular cancer.  Justin Beaver (I know you remember who he is) has set up a Facebook page:  CURE33 to dessiminate information about AJ and to help spearhead funds for him and his family.  You can also go to the UWW football website and read the information there.  There are 2 banks who have set up accounts to accept any funds people are willing to donate.  I'm sure you remember Dianne and Steve RAEBEL who came out to McMinnville and met many of the tailgating community the year that AJ intercepted a pass in the last minute or so to put UWW in the STAGG Bowl in 2007. He was one of the heros of their first national championship!! This is one of our d3boys who needs our help.  I hope that you all will help me get the message out to your friends on the other boards!!  I will continue this effort tonite when I get home from my meeting, but any help you can give would be most appreciated by the family and by the greater UWW family as well.  One day it may be one of ours that needs this kind of help.  Thanks in advance for anything that any of you can do.  Keep the Raebels in your prayers!!  Oline Mom

Same here, Monrovia. No matter how old we are, losing a parent is tough. I hope you have many happy memories of him.

Will do, Olinemom.

Olinemom has been out of the country and just found out about my son this weekend.  We became friends years ago and have hung out at a few Stagg Bowls where she met A.J. and all my family.  Great lady, as you all know, and I knew this news would hit her hard.  She has such a big heart for all the players.
