Well, I did not see the game, and I'm sure your right, from the film they had their heads down a lot after plays were over.  I would have loved to see that game, I'm sure it was a good one.

wc11.......just from watching your video  it sure looks like the Cats played with a lot more enthusiasm than the Tigers.  Nice job once again.

Appreciate the words but I have to say Oxy was pretty dang fired up that night too.  Besides the lighting it's a nice setting for small college football.

Another outstanding job of filming. "Hit them in the mouth, first play.", The collision, and listening to the players along the sidelines....all excellent.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

I don't think that Brett is going to give up coaching unless he gets a shot back in the NFL.  He's a great coach with a bright future and since the seasons don't conflict he should be roaming the sidelines @ the catdome in 2010.  I'm sure he's still going to be looking for a GA spot or trying to advance his career in coaching as well.  Casey will find a place to play as well as long as he still wants to play.  I got a chance to see him play indoors and he was just as good there as he was on the big field when we played together.  As for Taylor Summers, I don't think that he is playing in the UGNFL or whatever since the league never played a game.  Good to see that Brett is back playin ball I know he missed it for the season he was out, and he never really got hurt in San Jose he was on IR so they could pay him and keep him on their roster.  If they didn't then they would've either had to cut him (and potentially play against him) or pay him practice squad $ which isn't nearly as good...

Thanks for the updates, I don't think the UNGL or AAFL will play at all this year. It
seems these new leagues jump the gun a little with announcements, the economic times are tough right now for any new business venture. The UFL lost a ton of money in their first year, and had to relocate two of their six franchises for this upcoming season.

GHC,
At the risk of blowing your cover on here, let me just say that you are very kind, very special.  Thanks!   ;) :) :-*

[non Linfield take] Just got done watching the Tiger presser.   ::)  Man, I can tell he's sorry but I'm not sure he's sorry for what he did or because he got caught nailing 1/2 the wait staff of the Waffle House.

I think he's sorry he got caught [/non Linfield take]

The easy part was the apology, the tough part will be saving the marriage. What happens next year when the temptation returns out on the tour?

11, did the delivery arrive ok? Thanks again, I know why you had such tough choices this year in the editing process.

QuoteWe caught up with Ryan and asked him about his time in New Orleans, how this year's Saints team compared to that 2004 Linfield squad,

Now...even I had to laugh at that.   :D

What?  I thought the 2004 'Cats had tad bit better passing offense than the Saints.  ;)

I agree with you 11...that was a good season (albeit overwith)  We could still look at our Cat's in an "Apples to Oranges" sort of way.  After all...If you got a 18 handicap and you shoot a 68...everybody says, "Wow"...nice game Arnie!
(but I digress).  I am curious how common it is for a D3 program to have as much representation in the non player NFL management & staff(over the years) as Linfield seems to have.  I'll be hoping for some feedback on that question.
BTW...Nice interview with Mr Powell.

The Sophomore Monster back from Hawaii writes about the adjustment in being so far away from home that first year.

Quiz,

Not sure...I know there are 4 'Cats for sure that are working in the NFL (Ryan Powell (Saints), Ed Langsdorf (Chargers), Ryan Devlin (Cards), and Randy Mueller (Chargers))

Nice videos and blogs, WC11, as always. They add a lot to the board. Kala'e Parish's brings back memories for me. Coming to Linfield was my first trip to the Mainland and it was an experience. Seeing apples growing on trees made the biggest impression, and the plums. The cold, cold beach was another one.  And yes, the homesickness.
