WOW the live RPI/Union game is wonderful on the webcast --- what a professional job.  (I loved the commentator when he said one camera was positioned on top of the frat house) --- the camerman probably thought he died and gone to heaven with that assignment---only in D3 football can you get local color like this!(closer to the kegger after the game)
I sure hope the Catdome looks at putting up awebcast for our far flung alums.  If they can't do it in the playoffs then certainly do it next season....I guess we need to ask Pat if the NCAA would permit it, if so we should press the athletic department to go ahead and put up a webcast.  The #1 team in the country should be up on a the web if they can pull it off in the East.  This would make a great project for a group of audio visual students on campus.

Thought I messed up in sending it. Glad I got something right. I've got to figure out how to get those faces on my posts.

It was nice seeing that a H.S. playoff game was held at the catdome today between Y-C and ?. Anyone know what the score was.

Props to ex-cat Alan Boshma for the terrific turnaround Y-C made in his first year at the helm. Hadn't Y-C lost 20 in a row before he took over?

Will it be Barlow at Mac next week in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Nifty if it would also be at the catdome.

dc1, the PLU website says it's tape delayed and will start at approximately 2:00 pm, so maybe that is why.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Y-C played last night and beat Brookings-Harbor 33-28.

Swede,
Y/C beat Brookings 33-28 last night.  I watched a little on the field cam.  Looked like they had a good full crowd.
There are two more playoff games today @ the Catdome.
I think the new improved Catdome will be a great venue for high school playoffs and should help convince future kids this is a great place to play college ball.

dc1, I can't get it either. This is strange. The Whitworth website lists the start time as 1:00 Pacific, and the PLU website lists it at 2:00 Pacific.

dc 1,
I thought the same thing when I saw the scores rolling in today.  The "big boys" are running up the scores to probably try and impress the selection committee tomorrow.  Everyone wants that home field advantage going into the playoffs.

For those who want to watch the action at the Catdome:  The 2A playoff teams are on the field - start time in about 15 minutes.  You can listen to the PLU/Whitworth game while watching the action at the Catdome getting in full mode for the Cat kickoff in a couple of hours.
