Catdomealumni.com had a glitch in our system and we'll be unable to post up the 2009 Willamette game highlights until tonight.  Sorry folks!

Aww nuts ...

:P

Oh come on...I know you and a few others from down in Salem will be hitting the play button as soon as that gets posted.  :)

I can't lie.  My ISP address is probably one of your more frequent viewers.  In fact, I watched the videos of the 2005 and 2006 games once a day the week before the 2007 game to get myself properly fired up and angry.  Maybe I'll try that again this year with this video. ;D

Seriously though, 2009 was a phenomenal game by both teams.  Linfield played fantastic and got the breaks they needed, just like we did in McMinnville the year before.  With both teams returning so much, it should be another fantastic one this fall.

Big hits, an unstoppable running game, a smothering defense, and a win! What else could you ask for? Great job on the game video 11. :)

Gee, thanks O.B.  I kinda shied away from Friendster after the 14 year-old girl from Michigan was fined $14,000.

I hang out here now

This snippet ran in our local paper: Tigers' Priester to play for Linfield

"His aid package is valued at more than $80,000, said Patterson coach Rob Cozart."
Could someone explain this to me? ???

"...will play for Linfield University in Oregon next year."
It's Linfield College!

I've tried feeding the paper info about area kids at D-III schools, as well as enlightening them about D-III. They do not listen. They don't fact check stuff well. At all?

If he is really that good of a scholar, then I believe that he might be getting close to a full academic ride.

One of my cross country and distance running friend's physics scholarship at McMurry would probably be the equivalent of $80,000 at Linfield.

Joe Smith mumbled something to Jacob Priester about whether he could tackle college work, and Priester replied, "Hell yes I can tackle Collingsworth! Is he a running back?" Voila, admitted.

I realize what cawdad came up with was just a snippet, but wasn't mentioning the aid package a bit out of place as far as journalism goes?

"The Patterson standout sleeps with the lights on."

"The young Mr. P. likes to wear yellow."

"Jacob remembers fishing the Merced River with his grandfather."

Would have like to have seen some dimensions on that recruit list for a real frame of reference. Still no one from Long Beach Poly.........
