Perhaps four years, $20,000?

That's what I'm assuming also since Linfield is a total of 39K a year to attend.

HA!  I've already been doing my research and trying to come up with a plan.  I can't even imagine what a college education will cost in 18-19 years from now.  Thanks for the head's up.   ;D

This snippet ran in our local paper: Tigers' Priester to play for Linfield
"His aid package is valued at more than $80,000, said Patterson coach Rob Cozart."
If he is really that good of a scholar, then I believe that he might be getting close to a full academic ride.

Joe Smith mumbled something to Jacob Priester about whether he could tackle college work, and Priester replied, "Hell yes I can tackle Collingsworth! Is he a running back?" Voila, admitted.

Thanks for all the feedback. I appreciate it.  :)

Wildcat 14,

I imagine that the baby will come out a shade of "purple" and quickly respond to the resuscitative efforts such that bright crimson blood will rush to the skin causing beautiful pink skin indicating a healthy baby.

Wanted to let the faithful know that soon to be MHS Grad Michael Carrillo an incoming freshman will be playing in the Les Schwab Bowl in June along with many other Linfield recruits. This kid is a stud and is looking forward to playing for the Cats next season.  He was selected to the All-conference team his Jr. and Sr. seasons. He was selected McMinnville defensive player of the yr. his Jr. season and Offensive player of the yr. his Sr. season and also was the Mac Athletic Clubs player of the yr.

I for one am looking forward to watching one of our home grown boys playing for the Cats the next few yrs.

GO CATS!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

GREAT job on the video. You have a crew working the game with you? I saw at least three different angles on some of the plays. Very enjoyable.
Congratulations to the Baseball team.

Naw, I've seen him running around for every available angle on the field. Well, it helps that people are willing to share with him too....

Actually I wasn't even at the UPS game!  I have a great group of people that help out in shooting video as we have four cameras in play at home games and Brad Thompson was awesome in letting me use stills from home games (K. Bird for the road games).  The more shooters the better!

It's awesome that we're getting the story about Menlo from everybody BUT MENLO.

Weidby News Times: Three Oak Harbor seniors to play football for Menlo

Excerpts of interest:

---(Oaks OC, Adam Hazel) said that Menlo is an NAIA school and the smallest (750 undergraduate students) to have a football team. Forty percent of the students at Menlo are varsity athletes.

---Hazel said Menlo is going to play as an independent this fall, but still has the Washington schools on its schedule. The school plans on moving up to Division II soon.

I don't get it...seriously, thanks to all who helped me understand recently how divisions and affiliations work for certain schools...
That being said...how does a school of 750 undergrads go to D-2?

The number of students is a little deceiving when you start talking about different classifications, the biggest factor is the amount of scholarships offered at the D2 level. Another example would be Grand Valley State in D2. They have a student body of roughly 22,000, which would seem more in line with 1A, but they think D2 is a better fit for their overall athletic department, and don't want the expense of offering more scholarships and adhering to the requirements of higher classifications. Wake Forest in 1A is tiny, only around 8,000, but they've been 1A for so many years, and have the financial ability to offer all the scholarships across all sports, etc. Hope this helps.
