OK so, fodder for motivation for the feet and arm of the 6'5" signal caller....

http://cdsdraft.com/aa.php?team=Division%20III

Those who list....stay healthy.

This list has some surprises to say the least... The Linfield D-line is on the money but that's it for the far west?? they did include one O-lineman from the LU who is a beast of a kid but I don't know if he has even seen the field yet... Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Kings,

That's why I don't pay any attention to these publications and services when it comes to pre-season awards and rankings.  That's not a slight on Nish or Eric because I think they're going to have monster senior seaons for Linfield but these pubs just don't know our Division very well.

I only recognize the D3 poll for pre-season awards and rankings and I really don't put a ton stock into them.  They are fun for the fans to debate but they have ZERO impact on how the season will be played out.

The only poll that really matters is the D3.com top 25 after the Stagg Bowl is played.

PS...thanks for the info on the hotel.....HUGE help for Catdomer's making the trip down.

NO worries, spread the word, happy to help.
For what it's worth, there is an LB on the second team from UPS.

Gig Harbor Cat

The bearkitties are going to get the crap kicked out of them at the Catdome this year, and after the last visit, I hope all of their students in the piss colored t-shirts have a long ride home

The annual Oregon High School all-state game for Seniors, Les Schwab Bowl, is just a few days away and the Roster has 12 future Wildcats listed with 2 more as potential 'Cats.  12 is the most players committed to any single college and WOU is close with 10.

Playing in the Les Schwab Bowl doesn't guarantee success in college and Linfield has had PLENTY of Oregon players that didn't play in this game that had solid/stand out/All-American careers at Linfield.

However, there is a long list of LSB players that wound up being Linfield greats.  Landing this many players from the LSB is a great indicator of the strength of this year's recruiting class

LSB players committed to Linfield:

Mikkel Smythe, Hillsboro, RB/DB 5'10" 185lbs

Colin Forman, Westview, RB/DB 5'11" 180lbs

Nelson Franks, Cleveland High, TE, 6' 0" 215lbs

Michael Carrillo, McMinnville, RB/LB 6'0" 205lbs

Louie Colasurdo, Lincoln, LB 5'10" 208lbs

Michael MacClanathan, West Linn, LB 6'2" 215lbs

Kyle Wright, Thurston, LB 6'1" 195lbs

Jermey Patrick, David Douglas, C/DE, 6'2" 255lbs

Zach Hickman, Hillsboro, OL, 6'2" 280lbs

Kyle McLennan, Hillsboro, TE/DE, 6'2" 215lbs

Logan Krellwitz, West Linn, QB

Josh Yoder, Camby, QB, 6'4" 205lbs *listed as undecided but has committed to the 'Cats*

Listed as undecided but possible:

Tanner Krahel Aloha, OL/DL, 6'1" 195lbs

Conor Lynch, South Salem, WR/DB 6'3" 195lbs

ADvantage Catdome = Linfield football players find a home at Lowe's during the off-season

I'm not sure if the flip-flops Scotty Ray is wearing are regulation Lowe's attire, but you got to love a guy who wears those to work. :D

Sounds like a decent place to work, I remember my job at the Fred Meyer in Newberg in 2004. Midnight to 8:30am in the warehouse, the foreman was a Vietnam veteran who still thought he was in Vietnam. The guy would start yelling at everyone around 2am as we were unloading boxes of merchandise. Pure hell.
