#9 Wiitenberg finally goes up on Wooster with 1:20 left.
That makes for a 3 way tie in that conference probably.

Boy you Linfield guys sure move that number fast. I've seen 40, 45, 60, and 35

You guys are faster than a Vegas blackjack dealer!!!

As I said above, I'll take that + 40 - but I'll really take +45 or + 60...

While Linfield is by all appearances a better team - that's a huge number - especially in the rain.

It's 36-0 at the half. ;)

I said the Cats by 35, so was too cautious, but then I thought Welch was going to be playing.

What a strange day in the NWC.

You want a (halfway) entertaining read check out the NWC/SCIAC update board from about page 430 to end.

Very interesting play about hiding the concussion too. Wish him the best.

FYI DC1---The stats on the Linfield Website game Hedin a sack...not sure when that happened but thought you'd like to know.

In my following Wildcat football for 50 years the only trophies I can recall bringing home were National Championship trophies.

Having  known you for 50 years as a very focused guy wasn't it difficult to focus on the Wildcats though during your college years when you were spending so much time rolling in the hay with Ms. Beaver Baseball?  ::)

Congratulations to the Wildcats for a terrific season.
Today's game: NO SACKS and eight different players score points for Linfield.

That's right, everybody enjoy your Saturday night meal before you begin your posting - no, not you LINFIELD freaks.

WYD, SBB, d-train, you guys celebrate and don't have to turn up until tomorrow, if you want.

(Hey! who died and made you Chief? The boards died, that's who)

Great game today Cats.  Way to get it done.  Its all up to the powers to be now.  With PLU winning and Hardin Simmons losing, there are about a hundred different ways this could go.  We are in the dance, just where !!

He had a tackle for loss on a QB keeper--not a sack

Way to go Cats!! Hope to see you again this season.

If anyone cares, I went and saw Pacific play today. For a first year program, with mainly freshmen, there is some potential there. Not that Menlo is very good, but the Boxers went toe to toe with the Oaks and actually lead a couple of times in the first half. I believe that was the first time they had been ahead in a game all season. The final was 44 - 42 and Pacific gave up two safeties when the punt snap went over the punters head and he just kicked it out of the back of the end zone. Both defenses were gave up some big plays, Pacific on the ground and Menlo through the air.

On to the Post Season Cats!!!

Perhaps some of you "Old Timers"  ;) could answer this for me. Has there ever been a game in the NWC between two teams where the winner took home a "Trophy"? There's the Apple Cup, Territorial Cup, the Victory Bell etc.

GO CATS!

R&P,  it isn't really a trophy per se, but WU and Lewis and Clark play annually for the "Wagon Wheel"
