Nice Work Cats---Great effort by the O-Line and Simon--Boehme of course was great and the D played tough.  Need to quit with the penalties---a 2 of  those (on 4th Down Stops) resulted in scores for CLU.  Next week will be a BIG challenge---St. Thomas has some big boys on their team including a lof the same guys from last year.
Go Cats!

Las Vegas Wildcards

Just checked the advanced weather forecast for St. Paul, a slight warming trend for a high between 30-35 degrees. That could be a good sign for Linfield, St. Thomas would prefer a much colder greeting next week.

DuffMan

So the 'cats are headed back to MN.  Bring your warm gear.  It's chilly here!  Aside from tomorrow, the forecast doesn't have us getting above freezing all week with snow in the forecast  :'(

I hope to make it to the game.  Who's making the trek?  I'll be sporting a Linfield t-shirt--not like you'll see it under several layers.

Congrats!

SoCal Cal Lu Purple guys do not like Oregon. Were eliminated in Baseball and Football in 2009 and in football in 2010.....
This... is a simple game. You throw the ball. You hit the ball. You catch the ball.  "There are three types of baseball players: those who make things happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened."

Did some looking at the season stats--looks like a very even matchup next weekend.  Both teams can move the ball through the air or on the ground.  Looks like St. Thomas has a slight edge running while Linfield has a slight edge passing.  Both D's have been tough---Linfield a little better against the run and St. Thomas a bit better vs. the pass....Will likely be like last year and come down to turnovers....  Should be a really good one.
Go Cats!

Dissapointing, but great game for Linfield. Like last year, you guys controlled the LOS and it really hurt us. Hedin is a beast, and Boheme is as good as it gets - never gets flustered in the pocket and makes the right decisions. Both of these guys have legit chances to play at the next level.

Frustrating because we battled but just couldn't overcome drive killing mistakes. Kicking game and field position killed us as well. The better team today won the game.

With that said, have your fun and make a run to the STAGG Bowl, but know that we are now in re-match mode and are looking to come back again stronger and take you guys out to open the season!!! almost all of the starters returning, and lets not even mention all of the transfers that we will bring in  :D

Good luck guys - win it all for the West.
