Kingsmen 4,

Thank you for the kind words. You guys played your hearts out today in a hard fought game between 2 great teams, only 2 turnovers, a pick for each team.  You get +K from me to take you to 99, but come on fellow Wildcats give this classy and magnanimous Kingsmen booster another +K to take him to triple digits.

Clu Dad,
I'm a plus karma for you as well.....you fans are truly a class act.  Your team played their hearts out today but the Cats just were just a bit too much and truly brought their A game.  I don't know how far we'll go this season but if we play to our potential we can be pretty tough to beat.  Let's hope the St Thomas game is injury free and no turnovers for the Cats.  With a balanced running and passing attack I think we're stronger than we were than when our last national championship team was more one dimensonable .  Needless to say defenses win championships and this group is pretty dang good.

GO CATS....one game at a time.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

cludad

wildcat64 , i couldnt agree more.the cats will have a huge run to the championship. they have way to much. both offense and defense are special. just keep plenalties to a minimum and every thing will be great.(that i suspect is the real linfield team)

Jack Parkman

Good game on both sides, better game by the Cats.  I realize Linfield is a very strong programbut what will they have coming back next year?  I hope to god that QB isn't like Selway and continues into his late 20's.

cludad

lol, doesnt that qb have 3 more years?

bluenote

I'd have to think that CLU is better than 20 or so playoff teams this year and could really compete on the national level. Well coached and a very good ball club. It's becoming a great rivalry!

More to come.....on the game.

So the 'cats are headed back to MN.  Bring your warm gear.  It's chilly here!  Aside from tomorrow, the forecast doesn't have us getting above freezing all week with snow in the forecast  :'(

It's about 38 here too. plus rain. So we're used to it. But thanks for the forecast. Seems a little warm back there for this time of year.

Wildcat'64

The Cat QB is a Senior but.....don't be fooled there is a stable of QB's behind him just waiting for their chance.  In the Linfield system most signal callers don't get a starting roll until their Junior year because of the junior varsity farm club approach.  Freshmen and Sophomores have to be truly outstanding players to make the squad (and we do have some starting even at that level).  Traditionally over the last 50+years you learn the system and play games in the JV system and then get bumped up in the final two years.  The past year however was one of the best recruiting years in recent memory with several All State players entering the system among those recruited  were some very impressive High School signal callers.  As I recall one recruit may have been an All State QB.  The bottom line is. Boehme is also a great one but there have been many others in the last decade that have also been great and the those waiting for their opportunity to step in the roll have huge potential to be equally as good.  No matter what happens next Saturday, the future is very bright for the next few years for the Cats.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Gig Harbor Cat

OK, this is no Lie !!  After spending the night at Casa de Wildcat 11, I went out and warmed up the old heap for the AM run to the Catdome Tailgate.  Turned on the radio to a Portland radio station and the song Rocketman came on !!  Right then I knew that all of the stars were lined up for the Cats to make a statement !!
That was a complete game effort by the Cats.  Hedin took his already A game up a couple of notches,  the whole D-line poured on the salt all day long-- That was awesome.  Simon was in a zone baby--He willed his way forward time after time.  Yards after contact tell the story on this Cat  all day long.
K4 I need help with this one-- In the second half your O would always check down to a second call from the sidelines.  I understand what they were doing--  But considering the fact that they didn't have scoreboard, they burned a ton of clock late in the second half.  Clock that they needed to make any kind of run back.  They were very slow on the reads, it just seemed like it put them out of sinc.

Way to make a statement today Cats-- You are awesome !!

Tommieah's  here we come baby-- And we got game !!!

Thats all I got !!

GHC Out  (for now)
