WC'64,

Your new avatar looks great.  Look for me to come out from under my rock next season.  This has been a difficult year for me so I'm working to create a better one next year.

Excellent wrapup.  Glad you are part of the Catdome family for years to come.  Got any ball players there in Gridley?

Thanks guys for the words.  I just wish you all could have had a window in the huddle after the game.  It was incredibly heart-wrenching to watch but just shows how much these guys cared about what they have done with their time at Linfield.

I know both sides felt they played "sloppy" but I think it was more due to the talent on the field stonewalling the other during regulation and into both OT's.  UST's defense did what nobody else could and slow down the 'Cats offense and you have to tip your hat to them.  Sucks and it will sting for a long time but you just have to love the heart this team played with all year long.  Just a great group of Linfield guys.

Congratulations on another excellent season Linfield! As a Bethel alum I was really hoping to get a shot at playing you guys but that match up will have to wait. Best of luck on 56 in '11!

Great comments Wildcat11...we are all behind the team. It was a total gusty effort to tie it up with basically no time left. Both the O and D played their hearts out. They left it on the field for sure. I and many others are very proud of our Wildcats! And thanks for all you do also! We appreciate it!!!

Feed sucked. Announcers sucked. You are polite, Steel Curtain, to say they did a good job, but I was annoyed with the screwing up of the names and numbers, sometimes even which team!  The outcome sucked, too, but the Wildcats never suck!

Congrats to the Tommies. You are a fine team and played an outstanding game.

It has been one heck of a season and thank you, Wildcats, for the ride. You are all a part of The Streak, and we appreciate the job done by the coaches, team and staff.

56 in '11!

Makes me feel good to be where we were -- even across the field and high above a corner of the end zone, at least we were in a spot that had a quality connection to the Internet and using a better provider, I think, than MN Sports Network.

St. Thomas' press box is old and in need of being replaced. There's no hard-wire internet connection and the wireless is not reliable. We would not try to broadcast from there -- I'm surprised that they can make it work as little as they can, to be honest.

That's why we didn't feel out of place offering an audio-only alternative to the video broadcast.

Pat,

I wish I had listened to your broadcast and not tried to watch that darn video, but I wanted so badly to SEE the game. I won't make that mistake again.

For those who don't receive the Linfield e-Cat Newsletter, you might enjoy this downloadable aerial picture of the CatDome (aka Maxwell Field). I find that it makes a great screensaver or wallpaper on my computer. Everytime I see it, I am reminded of the powerful Linfield Tradition and the great respect I have for everyone who has contributed to it. It also reminds me of my years at Linfield, all the friends I made there and all the wonderful members of the extended Linfield family I have met in years since.

If it's not too early, Merry Christmas to all D3 posters. :)

Well said, 11. I was at the postgame team huddle after the '02 St. John's playoff game, which Linfield had a chance to tie with their final possession. The feelings and words expressed must have been very similar to what the '10 team experienced, the finality of it all, especially for the seniors. The class and character of the Linfield program was displayed in those moments, and in the big picture, winning goes beyond what the scoreboard says.

Congrats Cats on another great season! Wish it wasn't over, but that's football. Best of luck to all you seniors!
