Isn't it sort of American apple pie that the higher seeds get to play at home as long as they can?

Those 1st decade new millennium LINFIELD teams would still have had to play superior UMU and WW teams. Conjecture can be fun ( when the season is over). If you look at what happened when LINFIELD did get the johns at home and then away the next year, the result was the same. At least we did not peak there.   ;D

Co$t is why the great UMU program has not been put in The West during their run. At least they were playing at home most of the time.

Running back game breaker speed is what the WILDCATS need to get to the semis or Stagg with regularity. Plenty of those guys lounging on Division I 4th team depth charts in the state of Oregon. Of course, for once some of those  kids have a chance at the big prize. Has not always been that way.

That's my emphasis ( bold type and underlined) in D O.C.'s post. I agree 100% with his assessment. However, Linfield has done very well with the running backs they have had (still have).

Awesome work! You just keep getting better all the time. If D3 Football , the NWC, or Linfield gave out an award for best videographer, you would get my vote. :)
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

If the NWC gave out an award for best videographer, wouldn't they give it to three people? :)

I know R&P just posted this, but since it is actually Pearl Harbor Day today ...

In answer to a question from warthog (?) from a couple of days ago, there are at least a couple of people who went on the trip that are still alive.  IIRC, a couple of them were at a football game back in the 2008 season, and they got a standing ovation.

D O.C., no arguement from me about the tradition of higher seeds hosting.  But in the case of d3 the seeds are mostly conjecture since there is so little play outside of ones conference.  As close as the game was I wold say Linfield and St.Thomas were very close in talent this year.  Had the game been played in Oregon it could very well have been the difference.  I would like to see a rotating hosting system by conference.  I would not ever have a Pool C host in the first round.

BTW    the running back chart on September 10, was just fine to complement the air attack for the 'CATS. Things happen.    :-\
