Come to think of it, I believe I saw him down south in one of the trash heaps near my neighborhood.

Don't they know all of us Rats from Spokane are "really clean"???

You'll be happy to know I made it back in one piece...did have a close encounter with the kitchen staff at the Imperial Hunan

Nate is a funny guy in person. One of his cousins went to Whitworth (didn't play any sports there).

Great find wc11

What (509)Rat said. Nate is very friendly and personable.

BTW...former Menlo WR great Nate Jackson [now former NFL'er] has been killing it on Deadspin.com as of late as a contributor.  Some great insight in the NFL and worth the time to read.  Jackson's a talented writer.

Slow day at the office WC?
Great articles!  He used to write a daily blog while playing in NFL Europe which was interesting but nowhere near as well put together as his articles now.  Finally someone who might rival Rick Reilly.

Maybe he got his start from reading postpatterns :D

Ditto the find by WC11...this guy can, as they used to say, "Put pen to paper"
Some of those issues might never occur to the Saturday, Sunday or Monday morning amateur pundit crew.
Entertaining, informed and definately not for reading by "Grandma".
Oh wait a minute...I mean by My grandma!  ;)
"THE METTLE'S IN THE MEN!"

That's some funny stuff.

Thanks, 11.
Two words:  THE STREAK

bluenote

This will be a great year at Linfield...can't wait to see the new QB and Running Backs! Plus the O-Line will be solid along with the DB's and Receivers!

Can't wait!!!!

Agree Blue...Linfield is going to be very talented once again and if the QB position can produce I think we're going to be in the hunt in the West Region once again.  Go 'Cats!

Former Linfield grad Craig Howard is finalist for the SOU job.  Craig has been a highly successful high school coach in Florida for years...

Wildcat11 asked some Freshman players to write about why they came to Linfield and reflect on their 1st year as a Wildcat.  Some great thoughts from these young 'Cats!

Gee....I don't remember Craig sending any of his guys LINFIELD way.  :'(

(Perhaps some don't know Tebow was his.)
