Rogers had a hell of a day against a very good secondary. It had to made that bus ride back to PDX a little shorter...

Seems any phone call from the Northwest goes unanswered in Cali.

I'm late on this one ... but we played Willamette 4 years in a row until last year's scheduling of Linfield... I see it as a trade up, and with PLU coming back strong why take them off the schedule? Especially when we play them for a trophy every year, some sort of Lutheran Brotherhood Classic game. That doesn't mean we have to keep scheduling them but why not, especially with the season they had last year.

Now adding Willamette for Chapman would be a thumbs up in my book, along with playing a 10th game against a team from the Midwest/Wisconsin, but I don't see the SCIAC's policy changing their anytime soon.

FYI: Being in Arizona I must say I dislike the new asu logo.

I grew up a bigtime ASU Football fan, didn't miss a home game in the first 13 years of my life and made both the 87' and 97' Rose Bowl games. Nike has been adjusting their uni's every year since they took over for Adidas in the early 2000's and havent gotten it right yet. Getting rid of sparky was a big time mess up, and the new uni's are nothing spectacular ... Nike is getting a little out of control with the techy looking designs. ASU's simple uni's back in the Plummer/Tillman days are what they should be rocking still.

My understanding is that PLU-CLU game is underwritten so it makes sense to keep it. Saves $.
