Don't get what you're talking about there, DOC. No indoor plumbing at your house?
ha ha ha---DOC is not always the easiest to follow but I believe he was inviting you to GHC's tailgate.
Go Cats!

D O.C.

Yes, I was.

Insert name of any West region team in place of Bethel.  I was just trying to get to play 2 SCIAC teams but I'll take one from the MWC and one from the UMAC too.

Great win yesterday for the Cats. Beating Willamette is always a pleasure. I agree the Bearcats were not the team I expected them to be, but then I think our Cats had a lot to do that that. This season has been full of a lot of surprises, and to borrow something from McDonalds, "I'm lovin' it."

GO CATS!

Actually, the Bearcats were not the team I expected them to be yesterday either.   But, then again, neither were the Wildcats.   With the way WU was playing you should've been cleaning our clocks, but only won by 10.   I'm not sure what happened to our team yesterday--no excuses, but Linfield better play better than that if they expect to make any kind of play-off run besides one & done.    Besides, you still have to get past Lewis & Clark, right???  Didn't someone say they're pretty hot this year? :)

Lewis and Clark, Whitworth, PLU, UPS, and Pacific--yesterday was just one hurdle for the WinnerCats.  Obviously we can't take anybody for granted Willamette played us that close ;)
Go Cats!

Bored with this week already?
Following the game Saturday someone mentioned WU holding. Your job is to go to wildcatalumni facebook page and find Brad Thompson's photos. Can you find 3 holding and one facemask?

Oh, I get it. Sorry DOC, could not figure out what you were talking about!

Early flight from Boise gets to PDX at 6:50 (!). Lots of time to get to McMinnville and see the town and the campus.

Folks do appear to be bored with this week already, and looking forward to the LC-Linfield matchup. Probably justified. I'll just hope we can be competitive for a while.

If UST can take care of business against Auggie Tech & Bethel, it appears UST/Linfield III may be on the horizon.

As for a UMAC team making the playoffs. No chance.

You'll be surprised on Selection Sunday, then.

I went up for the Loggers-Lutes game yesterday (as usual). UPS' defense played a great game, after the awful performance at Whittier. PLU could not run through the line, so Westering adjusted and ran laterally in the 2nd half. The two freshman corners for the Loggers played better, and the d-line was terrific. UPS' offense could not move the ball at all on the ground, and Ka'ai, the huge Logger qb, was inconsistent at best.

I think UPS is improving. They had the ball in the red zone 4 times yesterday courtesy of the D, but scored only once. The next two weeks will probably be ugly, but this team does play hard. The lack of any semblance of a running game allows teams to tee off from the opening whistle, and the o-line wears down as the game goes on. Not a good sign when you are facing 2 excellent defenses the next 2 weekends.

I am heading to McMinnville next weekend for the game - have been there for baseball twice, but this will be the first football trip. Looking forward to seeing the atmosphere.

You will definitely enjoy Maxwell Stadium. Be sure to hit the tailgate parties and the book store to stock up on Wildcat gear. ;)
At halftime buy yourself some teriyaki on a stick from the Hawaiian student bbq.  :)

If you're implying that the UMAC gets an automatic bid now, then yes, color me surprised. Losing by 80 will be a nice experience for them I guess.

Can you please apologize one more time for your broadcaster!  That guy is awful.  And what is with him wanting to call everybody "Miller"?   ;)
