According to the Union football website they will be providing a video/audio web stream on the Union v. Ithaca playoff game on Saturday.  So for those of you who want to get up early and watch a first round playoff on the web it will evidently be aired.  Seems like they must have gotten the NCAA to approve of their airing of the game across the country.  I'm sure the OXY fans that cannot attend the game would love it if the Catdome could provide a web stream of the #1 Cats versus #6 Tigers.....probably would have the best viewing of any playoff game in the country!

'64,
If somehow that could happen, I would be in love with my monitor.

Oxy Fan 21,
I'm thinking of all of you sitting out in St. Louis (along with 86) of course that can't watch the Game of the Week at the Catdome.  The last excuse I heard was because the NCAA wouldn't approve of it.....well they obviously granted an East Coast school to go ahead.  If they would grant a West Coast school, then clearly we could all agree that their truly is no East Coast bias like some folks have posted recently as it related to the playoff pairings.  I don't believe there is any bias it's just a matter of how the rules are currently written and they followed the book.

Apples and oranges.

Union is apparently a local television station broadcasting, presumably the same one which did last week's regular-season game, a station which has paid the NCAA rights to do so.

Linfield's "webcast" you refer to is merely a webcam in the press box.

Get down off the high horse. The lack of oxygen is going to your head.

Gig, I think the Butcher needs updating!!

Gig Harbor Cat

Cat#4,
Wildcat 11 is in charge of the updates, since he is the one that invented The Butcher .  He is in California on business this week but I am sure that he will make time to get it done.  See you at the Catdome,  I will be there for some early tailgate action

                  Phone it in !!!!!!!!!!!!

Pat's comments on a webcast stand on their own merit....but even if a webcast was realistic, somebody has to put the thing together....and I think that maybe, just maybe, AD Scott Carnahan, SID Kelly Bird, athletics secretary Polly Sommers and others over at the complex have a lot of other things to do this week.   A project like this isn't going to be something they want to take on when they are all too busy with game preparations and all.

Cat#4 Any chance of you coming in with the rest of the 'Cats when they visit KOB in Jan.?

As I am stuck in St Louis, I will just have to enjoy the radio broadcast. Better than nothing though. I am not sure when I will make it out to the dome this playoffs.

I am going to watch the Union game, I am sure it will be interesting. The webcam at Linfield is more trouble than it is worth to look at.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

I certainly hope Oxys bust out that 11 man in the box all-Tecmo Bowl blitz again this year.  It was effective for one play last year.

I'm sorry you're stuck in St. Louis. I spent time at Ft. Lost in the Woods. Man I hated Missouri.....lol

BUBS-
No kidding, maybe that press man coverage with 10 guys in the box will work a lot better this year.

It will be nice to have a d3football.com representative out to see the #1 vs. #6 teams in the United States play.

Missouri is alright. The weather is crazy though. We are expecting "tornado-like" conditions today. Ft Leonard Wood has a nice Wendy's.
