Is it my imagination (IMHO) or does the NCAA selection committee manage to put Linfield in the most challenging bracket each year....and MUC in the marshmellow bracket?  I would rather play UWW or MUC in the first round than what we've been given over the last numerous playoffs.

These brackets don't fly in my book.  In my opinion, the SOS is a bunch of bunk.  I don't see any difference in comparing SOS and scores comparison.

Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

It's all your fault DO.C. ;D ;D

Yes, the Cats are in a tough bracket but the tougher the better as you play tough teams in the playoffs.  Doesn't do any good to play the powder puffs, the Cats just need to get better each week.  I don't think the Cats have peaked yet this season and that's a good thing.

Cal Lutheran will be out for revenge after their last two trips to the Catdome.  It will be anything but a cake walk on Saturday.  No sense in worrying about Week 2 when we haven't gotten by Week 1!!!

One game at a time.
LEAVE NO DOUBT

Whoever makes round 2 between CLU and linfield it will be a hard fought battle.CLUs offense is hitting on all cylinders with more yet to be seen.It appears that the cats d will be ready to take the challenge(make the starting o play more than 2 qtrs and hold them under 50 ;D)It really is to bad the powers to be have no more imagination than to pit these teams again after 5 games in 2 years.heck they should have sent us to uhmb if no home game for us.Anyways good luck ,it will be a heck of a game.

This is one of the reasons this 1st round game is maddening(you guys are sick of us and we you) the commish says they dont like to pit confrence opp. but we have played you guys far more than ant sciac team in the last 2 years. i will say this,i bet this is one heck of a game.

Agree 100%.   We always seem to have the toughest bracket.  Four of the Top 8 ranked teams are in our bracket!!!    Absurdly unfair.   We had one bad game this year, but we are still undefeated, which is not true of one team ranked higher!    Yet, the poll had us higher!!!

And, yes they should have sent Redlands up here!    Nevertheless, beat CLU!!

GO CATS! GO!
GO CATS! GO!

Cal Lu beat Redlands. Their reward should not be to be sent to a higher seed (UMHB) than the team it beat would face.

Agreed. The result stinks for Linfield, but it's the right call.

Screwy bracket if you ask me.....why not send CLU to UMHB and Redlands to Linfield for a change of pace? Why not?...because CLU probably would have a good chance of knocking off UMHB in the 1st round. Look at the other brackets....only 1 or 2 very tough teams in each bracket whereas we have 5-6. Dumb. We SHOULD have a chip on our shoulder after that shaft.

Looking at what Trinity and Redlands have done this year, scores and the like, I'm not sure your count matches mine.

I'm looking at the brackets and I'm trying to figure out which of the other 3 has more talented teams? Can't see any. Remember Redlands and CLU would have a good chance of beating most teams in the other brackets other than the 1-2 teams. And they aren't even the higher seeds in our bracket.

Pat Coleman

They might not, but also saying 5-6 isn't an accurate assessment either.

...wrong...it's better to play powder puffs and get through deeper without injuries or losses like UWW and MUC usually do...that's how they win and last longer. Sandbaggers.....

That's why the DO.C. wouldn't mind switching places with the defending champs.  ;D
