Hey cludad -

I've seen all the in-state Wildcat games this year and my observation of Linfield's qb is that he hasn't had the need to tuck the ball and run. For the most part his offensive line has done a tremendous job in protecting him. That said, he is a skilled athlete and if the need to run is an option, it probably won't be his first choice, but don't count him out.

Simply put, very rarely have I seen a team go undefeated without a skilled quarterback. Both Inns and Yoder are very capable of leading the Cats to either quick strike or smash mouth touchdowns.

With our quick, well-disciplined, and fundamentally sound defense to compliment our high octane offense, I am very optomistic.

GO CATS

Amen Brother! Plus K for you.  8-)
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Well I'd feel a whole lot better if it was in the bank at 9 % interest.

CLU with Rogers and the ball at the end of a game anything can happen....including nailing Laudenslayer while he waits for ER to get open.  ;)

Redlands tried that and laudenslayer rushed 3 times in the last 30 seconds or so for 40 yards and a game winning TD ... We have a few weapons but you know I want the ball in Rogers hands DOC I guess it's the receiver in me.

I wasnt questioning the cats qb skills (talented),I should have said pull it back and run(read option) that is what has given us the most fits.Last years qb was very good at that.Imay be wrong  but sacks this year seem to be on the up side(qb or line).

Video of the game on Sat?

Jack:
I read the following on the Linfield Football home page:

COVERAGE
•The game will be broadcast locally on McMinnville radio station KLYC (1260 AM).
•Internet users can hear the game simulcast at www.linfield.edu/sports. Click on "Listen Live."
•A live video feed will be available free of charge.
•The game can also be heard outside the radio reception area by calling TEAMLINE, a pay-per-listen telephone service, at 1-800-846-4700. When prompted, enter access code 9712.

Thanks.  I will figure it out at game time.

42-20 now that makes me lmao.

Sorry GHC- tried to quote you- didn't work. My real post:

More optimistic- 'Cats at home- Don't care who it is- still a SCIAC team coming to the Catdome to end their season. Seen it tons of times. 'Cats win 42-20. With a playoff roster there's no freshmen to make it any closer late.

cludad

Keep the faith pa you may need it ;D

Well, it looks like both teams are going to win on Saturday.  I mean how could any of the posters be wrong?  Glad there is a video so we can see this happen :)

In all serious though, I think this could be a huge battle-that's all I've got.  Go CATS!
Go Cats!
