WWU will still rank 2 or 3......

I would agree WW should be 2nd or 3rd if they had lost to a top  program like Linfield, but this was a stunning defeat. Buffalo State wasn't even ranked, and that program hasn't had a winning season since 2000. The Warhawks should fall out of the top five, at least, in my opinion.

Steel Curtain,
I totally agree with you...but I just believe "the powers that be," won't see it that way.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

I'd say it will go

1.  Mt. Union
2.  MHB
3.  Linfield.

Then I don't know....Wesley won't drop too far and I dunno about Whitewater...they lost to a team that had already lost a game so you figure they drop quite a bit.....
Go Cats!

First time I've been on here since last season, I think.
What a barnburner of a game!  I like them exciting, but that was a little too much of a heart-stopper. Sheesh!

Thanks, CLU, for the live stream today.

Monrovia, I think you've got the lineup correct. That seems the most obvious scenario.

Rankings?......

Win the league, beat SCIAC at home. hope for another home game. How about being put in the North this year!?

I understand your logic...but sometimes it helps to have home field CatDome....throughout the playoffs  8-)

So, maybe Hansen didn't call it on the radio because he didn't understand what was going on, but....what OxyBob alluded to was a photographer wearing purple and yellow was on the visitor sidelines, got tangled up with a ref, so they threw a flag on our sideline. WC11 got marvelously vocal about his CLU gear. The guy started walking away, people kept jeering him (11 was classic).
The guy was last seen running away.

I believe it fair to say that both Calu and Linfield players and staff developed more character in this one game today than many folks develop in a lifetime.  As we all know this hard fought game could have gone either way. When you have played your best and left everything you have on the field in 100 degree heat who could ask for anything more win or lose?

Hey all,
Great Win!  and as Coco said......... Sheesh! Talk about a heart stopper.
To kick a fg with 5.6 sec left, on the Road for the win against #10 CLU has got to be a huge confidence builder for the Cats.

Bring on Lute week! or is it Lute weeks?
This just in from So Cal....Another flag was just thrown

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

FG team really bounced back this week after 2 disappointing performances---still need to work on getting a cleaner snap to the holder but Josh Kay had a great day and won the game for the Cats!!!!
Go Cats!

Big win for the Lutes this week.  I went to the CalLu game last week and have to say the looked good at times, but were so rusty, it looked like they needed another week to work on the basics.

That said, I thought they might have a chance to beat Redlands, but I wasn't counting on it.  Sounds like they got a lot of stuff worked out since last week.

So, now we have Linfield Week (or "Flute Week" as Bluenote knows it).  I think that Linfield is the better team, but it will be interesting to see if the PLU D can slow down Linfield this year.  Who is going to the game?

Just think about that last field goal.  The snap was on the ground.  The holder had to cleanly field the ball off of the turf and place the ball.  The kicker had to ignore the bad snap and do his job.  What an awesome field goal!
