Congrats on a good W for the Cats yesterday.....that being said the NWC is going to be the best it's been in many many years and the Lutes, the Rats, the Bear Kitties and even the Pios will all be gunning for the Cats this year.

What a game yesterday.  Great to see you Cal Cat, but the frickin heat was something else.  The Cat support staff did an awesome job of keeping our boys hydrated during the game.  Its great to be back in the PNW again.

Phone it in-  Cats 3-0

WC'64 Since 80% of life is just showing up I'll give you +K for taking a break from running the Municipality of Anchorage and being CEO of Delta Enterprises and just showing up on the board today. I hope to see you at Homecoming.

I'm still pumped up from yesterday's game. To close for my taste, but I'll (we"ll) take a Wildcat win anytime. The boys played tough and got mean. Way to go CATS!
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Congrats to the nolutes for taking care of business down south.

Big win for the Lutes this week.  I went to the CalLu game last week and have to say the looked good at times, but were so rusty, it looked like they needed another week to work on the basics.

That said, I thought they might have a chance to beat Redlands, but I wasn't counting on it.  Sounds like they got a lot of stuff worked out since last week.

So, now we have Linfield Week (or "Flute Week" as Bluenote knows it).  I think that Linfield is the better team, but it will be interesting to see if the PLU D can slow down Linfield this year.  Who is going to the game?

wyd,

PLU is on the upswing for sure.  Young and talented.  Should be a great game in two weeks.  See you there.

Good to see you and rest of Cats at the Catdome South GHC.  OB sorry I missed you will try and catch you at Redlands on the 29th under the lights.  About the game...best sloppy (by both sides) game I've seen for a long time.  GHC about the heat, as one infamous poster use to  say..."hydrate,hydrate,hydrate".  I wonder if the CLU photog guy is still running....quite a route behind the goal post he was taking...does 11 get another sack added to his career ?  See you at BWC  8-)

Well...it was a group effort...the 'Cat fans brought that guy to my attention who was trying to hide and I just went crazy to those officials pointing him out.  I don't think that CLU photog was even credentialed and he was acting a fool even before that moment by mixing it up with the fans on the sideline.  However, seeing him run for the hills like a cockroach when the lights turned on was one of the funniest moments I've ever seen at an athletic event.  Turning that one around was a team effort.

Cam Cat,
Yes.....I've been a little busy.....lurking around the Board but not a lot of time to inject myself into the debate.  At any rate we've got the G5 fueled up and ready to head to Homecoming.  Should be a fun weekend and a great game against the Rats.

p.s.  My Facebook page alerted me that you're having a birthday this week.....Congrats.....You're one old Cat!

It was almost as hot at night in Redlands yesterday as it was in the day time in Thousand Oaks.

That was hilarious 11. The assistant AD wanted him too, but he was long gone.

I also want to say it was great seing so many folks again. It may have seemed like I took off without saying goodbye (OK I guess I did.), but I did see the end of the game from the top of the press box. Some disappointed CLU coaches and staff up there.

NWC looks strongest since the 1990s.  12-4 so far.

That Linfield game yesterday was a barn burner, in more ways than one.   93+ degrees.    32 penalties.   CLU played their heart out.   Both teams are Top 10 nationally.   CLU gained even more respect from me.    And their fans were cordial and friendly, even in defeat.   A good college.

Linfield, despite the penalties and CLU taking the lead, NEVER gave up.   They kept coming back.  Reminded me a lot of that classic game in Ashland nine years ago.   In 28 years of watching Wildcat football, this game was one of the most impressive Wildcat efforts ever for heart.

PLU in two weeks.   Can't wait!

GO CATS! GO!

I was not taking anything for granted on the final kickoff...it was so easy to envision some freak lateral gamet with the photog getting run over in the endzone :o :-\ >:( ;D
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Too bad nobody has tape of the photog beating feet out of the stadium because I am sure it would have made D3 play of the week !  It was a fan effort 11, but a sack is a sack and I think the Cat SID needs to make an adjustment to the books...that guy had 11 imprinted all over his back!
