Just remembered Josh Hill's great catch on the west sidelines going toward the wall. He ran it in next play. Any image, anyone?

I wonder if that bozo you guys chased off has one......  :o

That's the td, cawdad. THX
The catch before was crucial, probably 20 yards. Innes put the ball low near the sideline and Hill got it safe at about the two yard line and ran it in next play.

Ok my flight to PDX is booked for rivalry weekend (Willamette at Linfield) the end of October.  Can't wait to hang out with my pal Bluenote!!!

GHC: Can you pick me up in the G5 for the ride to McMinnville?  Is your trusty blue jug filled with delicious Longies still around?

I'm taking PDX rec's for brews, brewery tours, food trucks, sights to see, etc.

Dens: Will you be back at the alma mater for the contest?

11: Let's chat.

I think the Mayan's had the wrong date listed on their calendar for the world to end.  I didn't know the YMCA handed out airline vouchers.  I'll get a cardboard box ready for you TDT.

Las Vegas Wildcards

Just discovered something today which is good news for any fan of Linfield football. For the first time since 2004, the local access channel will be cablecasting home games. That's Channel 11 for Comcast subscribers and Channel 29 for Frontier viewers. Of course, the games will be shown on a delayed basis, so you'll have to check the McMinnville Community Media website. Heard volunteers and Linfield students will be crewing the production.

It was always weird how Linfield football disappeared from TV from 2005-2011, since that station was always covering(as it should) McMinnville High School football on Friday nights. Now viewers can enjoy both Grizzly and Wildcat football at the same time for the first time since 2004.

Looks like not. Thanks for the warning update.  I think I will take my frequent flyer miles and head for Madagascar.

We call them Food Carts in PDX

Specific Food Carts here:

Just find one you like. You are limited to about 450 to choose from. Don't get to PDX a lot  but found one at SE 43rd and Belmont I liked serving lamb and chicken gyros. I believe it's called Mediterranean something.

Hey TDT, the guy on 'Man vs. Food' loved this cart:

Check out Bridgeport, Deschutes, or Henry's for brew.  Plenty of places serve PBR as well, so you can feel right at home.

My nephew had a cart for two years and (other than those in his own pod) this was the one that he always touted as an excellent choice.

Props to Bearcats Cody Pastorino and Jake Turner.

Pastorino also was selected for the D3Football.com Team of the Week:
"S Cody Pasterino, Sr., Willamette
Pastorino recorded five total tackles (four solo), forced a fumble, blocked a field goal and blocked an extra point against East Texas Baptist. He blocked a 34-yard field goal with 17 seconds left in the first half, then an extra point after ETBU scored with 12:55 left in the game to pull within 35-24. He forced a fumble on ETBU's next possession with the Tigers at their own 30-yard line."

I'll second d-train's BAS recommendation, along with the breweries (though I'm partial to Deschutes myself).  Truth be told though, there aren't many ways to go wrong with Portland's microbrew scene.
