More from the Tigers' Game Notes:  "Currently, Sewanee leads the SAA in total rushing at 337 yards per game. Overall, the Tigers' triple option offense ranks fifth nationally in total rushing."  (ATN ranks the SAA as a top-10 conference).

The SAA is a five-team league with Birmingham-Southern who has an impressive win and the bottom teams have some surprisingly close losses. The break between the great conferences and the middle of the pack comes after the CCIW, so the SAA is alright so far through three weeks of its history.

... I wouldn't have ranked it No. 8, though. :)

Willamette in a route. Where's GHC to tell the Bearcats to just phone it in???

bluenote

I'd be very surprised if Sewanee River can match up with Willamette.

I just cannot get enough of these WU facts!
More please.

Fact:  It's not Sewanee River...It's just Sewanee...The Sewanee River is in Florida.

Sewanee is not going to beat Willamette.  Bearcats by three or more scores.

I think there's a river or swamp near by Sewanee. At least maybe a drainage ditch?

• When the Tigers rush for at least 370 yards or have at least two sacks, they are unbeaten this season."

Hahaha...that is quite a line.  They should have just gone with: "when the Tigers score more points than their opponent they are unbeaten this season."

11: Gotta give you some good karma for that one. Had me chuckling for awhile. I checked out the Tigers football pages,  http://sewaneetigers.com/sports/fball/2012-13/roster  , and they have a fairly small team, both in size and number. The game will be interesting to say the least.

Thank God there are No Mo LutesWhat a tough game and a great Wildcat victory.

Just like Cal Lu, PLU played a terrific game today. At least it wasn't in 100 degree heat. With those two teams it took everything we had to win those games.
