Congratulations to PLU for getting in.....Just wish we could have played somebody new in the first round.  We probably have the toughest first round game in the playoffs.  Just doesn't seem right.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

I'm just asking. Shouldn't it be #8 at #1, #7 at #2, #6 at #3....and so on? ???

In a logical world with free airfare, yes :)

Yeah, that's definitely one of the most quality heavy Rd 1 match-ups

The other game in that foursome is also pretty nasty: NCC @ Cal Lu.  I don't see any other foursome being nearly that rugged.

Yep, very tough quad of the bracket.

Even though I don't like the Lutes... still respect them. I've seen some epic games with PLU over the past 30 years. I remember a first round playoff game where Gary McGarvie ran back the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Sat in the end zone for that game and also remember my jeans froze in the sleet. Also remember a regualr season game where Marc Weekly beat the 'Cats in the Tacoma Dome.

Yep, very tough quad of the bracket.

No doubt, the toughest quad of all.  The winner of this group is certainly going to have earned it.

What do you suppose the NCAA does with all those frequent flyer miles they build up?
Conferences in Hawaii?
Not DIII

There aren't any frequent flyer miles in the first round -- no miles on a charter flight.

Happy for d-train, Wyd and speedybigboy, but, fellas, you drew the wrong team.
Thanks D O.C., and you may be right about drawing the wrong team.  PLU seems to be improving as the year progressed but Linfield anywhere is a tough win and at your place even more so.  I'm looking forward to next week though.  I haven't listened or watched much this year but I'll try to be at my computer for this one.

As happy as I am to be in the field.  I still can barely stomach the lack of fairness showed by the NCAA.  If there is a policy that conference teams shouldn't meet in the first round then ALL should be treated equally.  Another plane trip or two wouldn't mean a hill of beans to the NCAA.  I expect more from a purported association of higher learning.

GO LUTES!!!!!!!!
