Lever Street

Linfield by 24 over the Cobbers.  Cats are a well oiled machine.

St. John by 17 over Whitewater.  Johnnies are the real deal.
You can't get to CatDome without seeing Lever Street.   Go Linfield!

Cawcdad. Maybe you could go back and read, and actually analyze my last post before angrily agreeing with me. If I had to bet, I would take the Cats, but I don't think it will be the blowout you seem to envision. My only point of disagreement is on how much can be read into stats when the competition has no common opponents, and in some cases no common opponents once removed. Anyway, I'm a hockey guy, so don't put too much weight on what I say. Hockey is a game played on ice by the way.

Maybe you guys with Karma privileges can give
GHC and I some positive Karma to get us out of the hole.
It would be greatly appreciated.

Pat threatened to give neg karma to anyone pandering karma on the LL board this past week.
This could explain one source of your negative karma.

Oswald,
Thank you for your expert analysis of Concordia's chances. You are obviously well-versed in Concordia's abilities this year having seen them play one game last year.

Yes, SJU beat them this year unlike last year, but SJU this year is greatly improved from last year and were it not for a huge play at the end of the game, Concordia is MIAC champs. As such, I don't feel like I'm going out on a limb at all in saying that Concordia is better than last year at least defensively and on special teams. Their offense may be a bit more one-dimensional than last year, but I strongly believe that they will give the cats a much better challenge than most believe and they will play them closer than Oxy did.

kiltedrat,

You are right, I haven't seen much of the Cobbers this year.

Your confidence is inspiring, good luck in McMinnville, you'll need it.
Go TIGERS!!!

Tough days for Tiger Football.

Kiltedrat,

Thanks for the heads up. I did not see that post.

That Concordia game will be a tough one I'd think. It will be a great game.

CamCat,

The SCIAC guys don't seem like the sort to do that anyway.
I wouldn't worry about it.

I thought that to be the case. We're all pretty transparent and I did not pick that up with them so found myself screatching my head as to what was going on.  We're taught to do well whererever we go in life and I just could not figure out what was going on.

I also don't think there are enough karma-enabled SCIAC posters to drastically affect someone's karma. They can only do it twice a day per person and I am not sure there are more than a couple with the privilege at that.

Oxy,
My team has another game to worry about before we get a chance to come to the Catdome. I'm just sticking up for the #2 team in my conference. They'll do fine. Do I think they'll beat Linfield? Probably not, but I would never go so far as to predict that they won't be giving the cats any trouble, especially since you haven't seen them in 12 months.

Camcat,
Just wanted to give you a heads up.
As for your request, I am not disinclined to acquiesce to your request. ;D

Coco,
Thank the Mrs. for the updates. Best of luck next weekend, Cobbers are a step up from the team they were last year, but I doubt their fans travel as well as ours! Take care and I hope we send our boys out there in 2 weeks time!

Pat,

You're right.  I only saw one.  It's hard to play the game right in life if you don't know what it is.  Now I know.  Thank you.

I really appreciate this opportunity every day to play football without breaking a sweat and without leaving our home.  This is a wonderful venue to make friends, blow off some steam, tell a few lies, learn more about the teams and connect with other fans.  So much more than just a game each week.  We greatly appreciate it.

I was too small and too slow to ever play the game at Linfield but I'm big enough to work a keyboard and the perfect size for D5 football.

Since it will be Thanksgiving Weekend...why don't we nickname the Cobbers...."the Gobblers"!    ;D

DesrtCat1....I kind of thought the 2 female dancers giving each other a lap dance kind of stole the show though...  :o

She enjoyed getting your updates as well, and will be ready to go again this Saturday.

I might have to request voicemail updates from her this weekend since I'll be at a wedding and then at a Turkey day get together with the wife's family. Her two brothers are also Johnnies so hopefully we can crowd around a radio together!

No/limited internet access from weds on this week, I don't know if I'll be able to survive without my daily/hourly/minutely post patterns and d3.com fix!

KR,

I guess you'll be hitting the libraries for your Internet fix.

Who schedules weddings during football season? That's just wrong.
