Good job Cats....next up arch rival PLU!  Should be a great game.

Looking forward to a good game but I thought we looked sloppy today.

A win is a win. But, I understand where you come from.

d3mafan,

For clarification, I was speaking of the PLU win over Eau Claire.  But yes, a win is a win.

The Linfield guys on the board are talking of next weeks game vs PLU being a good one.  Granted, scores are not everything but the way the season has started, as a Lute fan I'm concerned that Linfield is extremely good and my alma mater may not be up to the task.  I know we've improved the last few years and I'm hoping we are up to the task.

Yeah, I saw a lot of tired legs today that didn't have the same explosiveness that I saw vs Cal Lutheran.  Oh well...you know you're a damn good program when a 45-0 win didn't feel completely satisfying.

.... I hope they are rested up for next week!    ;D

Many will be ready and willing, bluenote, they will play.

It's official.  Willamette is the recognized "undercat" against East Tejas.   Willamette definitely has its work cut out to make it a game against the Tigers and their potent offense.

"They'll be on your radar.
Ryan's take: East Texas Baptist. If you read this week's Around the South column, you know that ETBU has been lighting things up through the air, with a nation-leading 435.5 yards per game passing. However, the opponents from the Tigers' first two games are currently winless. Not so with Saturday's opponent, Willamette. The Bearcats gave up a lot of points in their wins, so ETBU (which posted 50-plus in its two outings) might be able to run away with this one. Let's just see which quarterback they use most."

Go Bearcats!

Script, flipped. ;D

11 was spot on: the strength of this team is its pass defense.  What really threw me for a loop was the 330 yards rushing against 142 passing.  That's old-school Willamette offense!

Hey Doc,

It's hard to say things were disappointing when you win by 45-0 BUT,  8-)  WC11 is right ..  It was very sloppy...    On the O side of the ball...  :'( :'( :'( Dropped balls, missed blocked,  bad snaps,  wounded Ducks, you name it I think the boys did it... ::)  (And still put up 45) :-*

The BIG D stuck it to CWRU....  Good JOB Boys... 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

And to top it off We watched the Scoring Machine of MT.U  put up 84 last night.. ???  They will  get my vote in the fan poll this week..
