Ya I noticed that MonroviaCat....you'll see the first 2 games before we even see them play.  :'(
If only their were flights between Portland and Southern California....or video feeds.....Don't worry Blue--I'll let you know how the games go...but it may take a while for the carrier pigeons to get to you.   ;)
Go Cats!

You could always get on a plane to LA.......

Ontario Airport is closer to Redlands, and Orange County (John Wayne, SNA) Airport is closer to Chapman. LAX is a pain.
Also, Chapman's field is in a landing path for Orange County Airport, so I m not sure about WC11's spy plane...oops drone,
but I would love to see the shots from above. Can't wait to see some action from the "eye in the sky".
Looking forward to opening game against LC.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be using it during an actual game...pregame, during half to capture the environment sure...but I'm not going to be flying that over game action.  ;)

Linfield Fans....

When coming to So Cal, avoid LAX if you can....

John Wayne (OC is a good option) but another cost effective one is Jet Blue into Long Beach Airport. I love LB, even over JW.
I have flown to Portland on Jet Blue via LB Airport a few times. It is cheaper than taking Alaska out of JW and so much easier.
Long Beach is only about a 35 minute drive from the airport. You can get on the 405k south for about 5 miles then merge to the 22 east...for about 20 miles, Chapman is only about a mile off Glassel. JW will take you about 20 minutes given the traffic and route you need to take. If I was you all I would fly LB....ground time, cost  and ease offsets John Wayne.

When coming to the Redlands game, Ontario is the best airport to use. It is less than a half hour from UR. The second option would be Long Beach again. It will take you about 1 hours and 15 minutes to get to UR. Be careful where you stay between UR and the airport some rough areas..

Hope that helps...

GHC and I be using Long Beach as usual....best airport in the area and I don't mind it that puts us a little further away than Ontario or the others.

LB airport is great. I simply forgot about it.  I used to use it all the time for my job before I retired.

Is D O.C. putting together a gathering of any kind on Friday or Saturday for you guys. I mentioned to him that I would assist
him. Would be nice to meet some of the LC gang.

The BW (beautiful wife) and I will take in both California games and spend the tween-time in the LA area. Have rented a place and will be tourists during the week. Another certain "old former Linfield professor" and wife will be joining us. Watch out L.A. It's gonna be geezer time.

Go Wildcats!
