ADvantage 'Catdome: Linfield is ranked #3 by Sporting News and Lindy's 2014 preseason Top 25

Thanks for the info Wildcat11..... I agree pre-season polls aren't accurate, but I believe over the last 9 years we have proved we deserve to be rated in the top 8.

Just saw the George Fox sports bus with it's new wrap. They are really going at it like the ducks have...bling covered with more bling.
Ironically, the only people still scared of this virus, are the vaccinated.

At the very least the preseason polls are "free" advertising for the Cats and any other school listed.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

The brand new stadium they just built looks more like a Plain Jane though IMHO.

Agree. +1

It is rather plain Jane but will be very nice when complete. Bleacher seating will be on both ends of the stadium. Duke athletic complex is now open and the lights are up. The Field is almost ready for the new artificial turf. From what I understand the concessions will be contracted out but that could change. The Wildcats locker room will be in the Wheeler complex while the Bruins will be in the Duke complex. At this time, no plans for bleachers on the visitor side but that too may change. Parking is the one big hangup. If the majority of the players return from last year they will welcome over 130 players, most all will be freshmen in eligibility.

Parking is going to suck at Fox. I wonder what the tailgate situation will be like with lack of space.

They can bring in other bleachers to fill the place but their main grandstand is terrible for being a brand new facility.

Any news on Linfields new turf, time frame, design?

I don't mind it so much considering the $$$ I would have extended the grandstand by 10-12 yards on each end and would have had a different roof design. Now since we have catdome north and catdome south what will we call the Bruins place.

Move the tennis courts. It'll give us room to tailgate ;D

THis year sucks only having 4 home games? WTF! (again!)  ;D

It does suck but we're at the mercy of other teams when scheduling non-conference games.  Sucks for 2014 but in 2015 we have 6 home games and road games at Pacific and Fox.  The only long road game will be at Whitworth that year....but I hear ya.
I think it's awesome!  Two games in person with no flights  ;D
I'll be driving to So Cal two weekends in a row. Two games each trip.  :o ;D

Asking me? Because I can.  If I'm going to drive 300 miles to see one game, I might as well see two.
weekend 1:Whitworth-Whittier at 1 and the Cats at Chapman at 7.
weekend 2: My friend wants to see Willamette-CLU at 12:30 and Cats-Redlands at 7
