BZB,

That information use to be posted up on the conference website but now that's under locked/administrative access only.  The Conference website is being managed by Blair Cash so he should be easy for you to reach out to.

So....Willamette plays at Pacific this weekend.....interesting match-up. Not sure which of either of these teams will show up? It's been an odd year so far.  ???

Catdomealumni.com's YouTube Page: 2014 Linfield College Football: Willamette Mini-Highlight

The "Willamette Mini-Highlights" video might have been titled "Willamette Not-Many Highlights." Here's to hard work this week by the Cats and more highlights in next weeks video.

....we had some highlight material in the 4th quarter. The other quarters are dominated in my mind by Willamette's extended methodical drives that took a lot of time off the clock. Bad pass protection from our O-Line and a bunch of penalties that extended Willamette's drives many times. Then the one I keep seeing is when we had them pinned on the 2 yard line when we were mounting a comeback....and the guy broke loose on 1st down for a 98 yard TD run. Talk about taking the air out of the sails.....  :'(

I finally went and speed watched the game yesterday and the though that occurred to me was this was a similar but worse version of the Chapman game--especially the drive extending penalties and the out of sync offense....then the near comeback....  Penalties have been the biggest problem for this year's Cats (IMO) and they were certainly a big reason for last weekend's outcome....  That being said, penalties are a fixable problem---plenty of talent and skill on this team but they need to limit these types of mistakes if they are going to win against good teams.
Go Cats!

A substantial number of critical penalties, many blown assignments and four turnovers seldom lead to victory. >:(

But, it's time to move on and encourage our Cat coaches and players (perhaps including travel to Tacoma on Saturday). No one feels worse than they do about the egg that laid last week. I went to practice yesterday and it was clear there was renewed evidence of effort and commitment. I suspect we'll see the result of that over the next two weeks...at least.

Go Cats!!!

Coach Smith's weekly interview was quite good and maybe more telling than it typically is--check it out on the football web page (it's a video)

Coach Smith gave a more detailed version of his online interview at this week's Quarterback Club meeting. At these meetings we have the opportunity to ask questions and explore his comments further. QB Club meets every Monday morning at 7 am at Jake's Deli in Mac. All are invited to join us for breakfast or a cup of coffee. Each week we get an inside look at what happened the previous Saturday. It's always informative.

ADvantage 'Catdome 2014 Game 7 preview: Linfield (6-1) at Puget Sound (3-4)
I believe the Cats will show up Saturday and do what they do. Play good fundamental  football and come home with a win. I see that there won't be a video feed for the game or am I mistaken?
