Best wishes for the Holidays to all you NWC fans. May Santa bring you all the position players you need. I have enjoyed all the NWC
posts this year, as the SCIAC board postings were limited to just a few posters.

I look forward to hosting Whitworth next year and traveling up to LC next year.

The  'Cats had AN OUTSTANDING YEAR, congrads. The 3rd place ranking was well deserved!
Thanks dahlby, Merry Christmas and a safe New Year to you and your loved ones....... your team had me awfully nervous down there. See ya next year at the catdome  :)

Dunno who you think is going to beat Mount Union in the OAC. John Carroll's stud quarterback graduates. They haven't been competitive since 2002, when the current coach was the stud quarterback. They probably won't need a decade to find the next one, but that doesn't mean they have someone ready to come beat Mount.
Transfer  :)

Merry Christmas Mr. Ypsi.

swede....think....look back....don't you think the coach of the year knew what he was doing letting two veterans have a shot at Qb to move the team before he put in Riddle? Confidence, my man. The game was not close except for the score. Do you think Chapman could have scored a two point conversion? No. Won in overtime? No.

I've been following the 'cats since Durham was coach and Ad was at Hilhi so of coarse I know what coach Smith  was doing. Ya do it the Linfield way, Matt was a senior so there was no question who would get the starting nod and Tommy would come in if he didn't get the job done.  Sam was the ace, knew it when I saw him when he was a Fr.

Merry Christmas  :)

d-train: I understand your point (from a couple of different perspectives) and support it. Still, I thought it was funny, in good fun and chuckled when I saw it.
A sincere Merry Christmas to you and to all D3 fans everywhere.

Of course...as was my reply.  Maybe I should have added a smiley in there somewhere so that was more obvious.  I'm not offended in the least and was just returning that volley with a little snark.  I thought it said Christmas (and did the +1) until around my 3rd take.

Take it easy on the egg nog tonight!

I honestly hadn't considered the potentially sacrilegious interpretation - and me, having degrees from both Baptist and Methodist schools (though religious studies didn't remotely enter into neither case). Realizing that, I'm  a bit chagrined. And it wasn't intended to tweak the other fans around the NWC, though I can also see how it could be read that way.

So ...

To clarify, here's wishing a wonderful holiday season to all the fans around the Northwest Conference. You're all part of why following college football at this level can be a far more level-headed (usually), in-perspective experience than at higher classifications. Peace to you all!
