Andy Jamison - Walla Walla Wildcat

Has anyone heard plans for Tom Knecht this season?  I hope they find a way to get him on the field... H Back or slot... too good of an athlete to spend his entire career sitting on the sidelines.  Plenty of guys play WR and then slide over to Quarterback if #1 goes down

Finally got to see a DIII college on my trip in the rest: Lebanon Valley off I78 in Pennsylvania.

Hershey Park?

No Hershey.
Actually, between her phone, the GPS she bought and plans to take back to Sam's Club after the trip, and AAA book map, my co-pilot missed 476N in Allentown.
Hey! Look! There's Moravian!

Oh my...you were lost.   At least you went there by accident...:)

...Hershey is better, and the town smells like chocolate...

Cats have 3 returning receivers with experience - Balsinger, Douglas, and Altringer.  Who else will step up? John Carroll, Reed Peterson, Eric Igbinoba, Kevin McClean (need to get him doing more than punting!)

RB seems solid with Payne (though he is a fumbling machine.. makes me nervous..), Sam Robinson, Tavon Willis, Bryan Cassill

QB is thin with only Riddle and Knecht back and then a bunch of freshmen

O Line has Pitassi and Hanke listed as juniors for eligibility in 2014.. are they both back in 2015?  We seem to always have a good O-line so I'm not worried about talent.

I think there are a number of talented WR's in the program but besides the three you mentioned are just unproven.  I think the talent is there, it's just a matter of how quickly they get going.

RB is very solid.

One of the best QB's in the country, very good senior back up, and new guys at QB.  A lot of programs would love that QB situation.

Both Pitassi and Hanke are back.  Replacing Schultz and Patrick will be tough but we do have a number of good offensive linemen in the program and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these freshmen get into the rotation as we get deeper in the season (I think it could be an exceptional offensive and defensive line incoming class).

Interested on what everyone thinks about the defensive side of the ball, line, backs, corners?  Will Cats be as good or better than last year?

When do Wildcat football pre-season practices begin? Or are the players already on campus?

I think they kick things off this Wednesday evening....I think practices start Thursday. Not sure of the schedule.

Tried to upload a photo of a football for sale, seen at a TJ Max in Hawaii by a former teammate of mine.  But I keep getting "upload folder full" error. The photo on the box is altered by color and pixalated so you cannot tell who the player is but the jersey says Linfield and the logo on the helmet is a wildcat. In the other photo on the box you can see its Linfield vs PLU.  $7.99

Football season is here when Ringman CB4 takes time out to come on here.
The d3 front page has a nice shade of Purple.
Made it to Wilkes-Barre and Widener. Jumped out of the car to speak with the driver of a SUV that had an Endicott sticker at the Canadian/ US border. Guy never heard of LINFIELD. No  wonder they stick them out in Maine.

Tackles: return Randall.. need guys to step up

Ends: Hoff is back as is Asa Schwartz... beyond them we need guys to step up

I don't know how much experience we have coming back on the D-line aside from those 3 guys.

Linebacker: return a whole bunch of now sophomores plus Eli Biondine - I'm excited about the LBs over the next 3 years.

Secondary: Should be very solid in the secondary with all sorts of guys coming back... Corners seem to be 2 deep as do both safety positions - Lewis brothers, Elgarico, Arkans, Kennedy, Belcher, etc.

There is a lot of talent on Defense but it might take awhile for the new players to adjust.
