Andy Jamison - Walla Walla Wildcat

Both streaks are equally impressive... 100 consecutive regular season wins for a football program has been done before (I believe) so I am going with the 60 consecutive seasons with a record of better than .500 as more ... but... both are incredible...

Although I do wonder about the strength of the teams in the OAC... How has the OAC done in non-conference games excluding MUC?

Used to be much better.  There was a stretch in the early-mid 2000's where the OAC regularly put a second team in the playoffs, who would inevitably win two (or three) games and eventually lose to Mount Union in the quarterfinals or semifinals.  But that hasn't happened in awhile.  John Carroll was very, very good the last two years but the league as a whole has dropped off since those salad days.  Go look at the early-2000's teams from Capital and Ohio Northern.  They were damn good.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

And wasn't Ohio Northern the 101st game ago when they won at home against the Stagg Sitters?

Anybody else having problem getting the audio feed for the George Fox game today?  I am getting nothing on either the Linfield or George Fox stretch portals. It's pouring down rain in Vancouver and likely Newberg as well. That likely explains it.  Any suggestions?

Oh boy...we thought it was raining in the first half, but no...
The real deal hit in the third qtr and that was the definition of rain baby!
Just got home to Mac and peeled off the soaked rat costume, crawled in the shower and gave the game some thought.
Although Coach will clearly have valid coaching points about technique, scheme, execution and
maintaining focus under adversity....
It rained and blew hard!

I think it's a defensive advantage under those conditions....disruption thrives under adverse weather conditions...duh!!!!
IMHO

What a day.
When  was the last time you saw this sequence from a WILDCAT team?

Quotean errant snap, a dropped handoff and a missed field goal

Just realized that 11 nailed the point spread on this game.  Good call!
Go Cats!

Yeah, pretty forgettable day for the offense but the defense was once again nails.  Conditions were terrible but we need to do a better job of handling it.  Funny that our 7th game last year was a lackluster effort as well but I do remember what this team did after that.  Bottom line, we won by four scores, shutout another team, and we're one step closer to another undefeated season.

Good win for Cats also gave Fox that same glimmer of hope we gave the Boxers 2 years ago at there place. ;D
