Can't remember another game where it rained as much. Ball was slippery for both sides. Need to figure out how to score inside the 5. Maybe Wildcat with Hoff as ball carrier?  ;D

Packed house and I got the last seat under cover since most had ordered earlier on line. At $20 .....normally I'd say it wasn't worth it but on a rain day like today.... worth it!  8-)

!!!!!!  20 !!!!!!

SoCal comfort of home was free.
It seems when most other games were over the feed began buffering with the new free customers.

It seems  UPS-nolutes was even worse without artificial turf.

Speaking of "packed house"...GFU sports information is stuffing the old attendance box.  They announced today's crowd at 3,327.  Probably 2K max.....if that.

Probably the live feed broadcasters did the counting--they had a lot of trouble with numbers all day! :)

.... not sure who was running the game clock at GFU but they were continually delaying things by either not paying attention or they didn't have a clue as to what they were doing.....  :P Plus...people running the sound board.... every 10 minutes it sounded like someone had just run their fingernails across a chalkboard..... oh I forgot it was halloween.  ::)

I have an out-of-state friend who follows Linfield from afar because we've been good friends for decades. He emailed the following hilarious message to me this morning.

24 - 0 ???  Is there talk of hanging the coach in effigy?

...that would be a little harsh to do that to coach Casey. Besides, the GFU people I was sitting around were so happy that the game was over, they thought they had won.....  ::)

Yes--the George Fox write-up says the team can walk off the field with a smile for their outstanding defensive effort...

Bells!!  I remember the competitive fire being described during the hiring search as a temper.

" Although it wasn't the end result George Fox was looking for on Saturday, the Bruins can walk away with a smile, as they  they tied No. 2-ranked Linfield Wildcat's lowest defensive score of the season, zero."

I was in general till the heavy rain started coming down....went to the tent in the parking lot behind stadium, had some hot cider, plucked myself down on a easy chair and watched the game on the big screen  8-)

You didn't have reserved seating as a top George Fox booster?  Oh wait--that was last season ;)
