So, to impress the ncaa one year with your SOS you schedule tough  (and far).
Just don't give up 66 points.

Anyone else feel subtle pressure to play 10 games?

Linfield is the only Top 25 team who played nine.

For what it's worth, I don't think 8-1 vs. 9-1 makes a difference or has ever made a difference. Only thing is that Linfield missed a chance to perhaps play someone else and pick up a win against a regionally ranked team but generally, teams with the same number of D-III losses are looked at as the same in football.

... Road Warriors.... we've done it most years. Not a problem!  :-*

I was just there last year! I try to spread it around -- we'll see what the 2017 schedules look like next year and what new places are worth going to.

I know for years there has been a desire by the fans, players, some of the coaches, and others to play 10 games.  I have heard a lot of reasons why we don't but don't neccesarily buy into them.  If GFU and Pacific can go far and wide to get a 10th game  home and home so could we.  Playing 9, having one of the preseason games against UMHB and not some pussycat I feel made a difference this year in the seedings and bracket.  Being undefeated, playing 10 games, and going against a decent out of region team would have made the difference.  I am not too concerned this week as I feel HSU will be a good matchup that the CATS can win.  It is just a crime to see how some of the other top ranked teams were seated.  Disapointing at best.

I just looked again at Mount Union Bracket.... and even though they have an away game.... that bracket is a joke.

They are always in a soft bracket, but at least they have to prove it on the road for once.

Are you kidding me !!!  We don't draw a frickin home game.  Unreal
I'm organizing a protest for Monday night on the Linfield campus maybe the NCAA will give the Wildcats a home game

If you call Soros he may be able to get some of the folks on his payroll up in Portland to come down and join. If Linfield can't afford a 10th game, they sure as heck can't afford a meaningful protest. Good luck gren.

Yep. Mount wins both ways. They have the softest conceivable route to the semi's and shut up the people who complain about them never going on the road.  Seems to me John Carroll and Mount should have switched places in this bracket (and playing home a couple of times), but that's just me.
