Oh...one other important factor...The Cats are healthy...that's a first in recent playoff history as far as I know.

I just took a closer look at the Butcher's picture.  The chick in the bikini must be something to make the wall of fame.  I also loved the picture of our beloved moderator's grill.  If nothing else the combination of the two should help keep your karma from getting to low. ;D

We aim to please.  As you know I am all about positive karma ;D

11 put her on, thank goodness the picture is small, its a photo of a Johnnie fan and man is she butt ugly.  Hey 11 if you read this pull her photo and post it for the boys, maybe she could become a Warhawk beaver fan.  As the week goes on the material gets better, and yes it will get better  PHONE IT IN ;D

I may have been "busted" but so far nobody has countered my comments.....unrefuted statements are often true.....  Nonetheless, I will apolgize to any current Linfield Cheerleaders that may read this board.  Sorry!

Go Cats!

Wildcat Pre-game analysis
Another possibility is that...Cobbers are a better team than the Warhawks...just a possibility 8)

Criswyly, excellent pre-game coverage. I have been wondering too if the Cobbers really were a better team than UWW, only time will tell.

I have been feeling under the weather and have not been able to do my usual pre-game analysis but did anyone else look through UW-W's write-ups?  They very nearly lost to UW-La Crosse, a team that finished out of the top 25. I think had UW-LC not had six turnovers in the game, they very well might have won that game. Incidentally, UW-W had four turnovers themselves but if I remember right (I really am pretty fuzzy-headed), either three or four of UW-LC's turnovers happened in the second half.

Anyway, thought I'd throw that out there for discussion.

My initial thoughts on this game is Linfield by 21. I just think our D will have a better time of it against more "familiar" offenses, hence allowing our Offense to be on the field a lot more.

There are a few that are better off as the foundation for the pyramids than on top, but there are definitely some real cuties there too.

Of the eight to's that sju had last week, it sounds like quite a few of them were forced. Linfield's speed will make that harder on the whawks. On the d side, swarming will be the norm.

The tailgate is shapoing up nicely...
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Yeah, I don't know how many in the UW-LC game were forced but I imagine at least a couple of them were. UW-LC gave up three fumbles and three interceptions.  I imagine that UW-W is probably a pretty hard-hitting team.  I just think, though, that our D will get a handle on them pretty early and not wait until second-half like last game.

And we HAVE been good against the run. We shut down Willamette and UPS and both of them have good runners. And wasn't last year's Stagg Bowl against the nation's #1 rushing team?

I'll be surprised if it's a rout, in the range of 63-0, but I think we'll win by three TDs.

desert cat,

Are we going to have some game film  to show at the Elks Friday night like we did last year during the playoffs?

What time is everyone slated to show Friday eve? I don't want TopCat to get a head start on me so I might have to stop by the Blue Moon in the afternoon after getting in to Mac.  Of course if Top Cat is a no show again this week we  may have to penalize him another 15 yards.

The Moon sounds good. Great breakfasts. Swede you still buying that drink at the Elks on Friday?

I think last week the cats got a little scare and realize that they now have to play 110% the whole game. I am sure the D is going to come out read to lay some hurt and the O will start out slow get some read then pick them appart

God, I hope not. I hope the O comes out firing.  That three-runs-to-start-the-game deal and then three straight interceptions was painful. I much prefer 75-yard completion to start the game. (Well, as long as it's us doing the scoring!)

The game is alot easier on the stress scale when we can go out there and get the long yard catches and touchdowns

spiritof86

In the game vs Lax last year, BE started slow but then really exposed the middle of the field. Long crossing routes...CA had a great TD catch. In both games vs UWSP though, they have had to pick over the middle quite a bit. The O wore out uwsp both games.

Should be fun to see the Beaver in action as well.
Better than having to listen!
