Question:...From D3.com Particulars, a team gets the last 3 regular season game films, not the first round playoff game.

Do they now at this point get a playoff game film? Or is it no films of playoff games through out.

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

cawcdad,

The food at the tailgates has been awesome. I don't know how many salmon gave their lives last week, but it was a bunch. Add to that the crab dishes, the chicken, the teriyaki beef sticks, and everything else, and you won't need to eat the rest of the day.

It is an ever-changing smorgasbord. The week before there was a big vat of BBQ'd ribs, along with a ton of other tasty items. Linfield fans have MAN food, and lots of it!

Yep, DesertCat. She and I will be at the Elks Friday night.

No Child Left Behind: The Football Version

1. All teams must make the playoffs, and all will win the
championship. If a team does not win the championship, they will be on probation until they are the champions, and coaches will be held
accountable.

2. All players will be expected to have the same football skills at the same
time and in the same conditions. No exceptions will be made for interest
in football, a desire to perform athletically, or genetic abilities or
disabilities. ALL PLAYERS WILL PLAY FOOTBALL AT A PROFICIENT LEVEL.

3. Talented players will be asked to work out on their own without
instruction. This is because the coaches will be using all their instructional time with the athletes who aren't interested in football,
have limited athletic ability or whose parents don't like football.

4. Games will be played year round, but statistics will only be kept in
the 4th, 8th and 11th games.

5. This will create a New Age of sports where every school is expected to
have the same level of talent and all teams will reach the same minimal
goals.

If no child gets ahead, then no child will be left behind.

rockcat, move up here to Central CA where you may not see the sun for a couple of weeks at a time due to fog, also depressing. And was weird playing volleyball on the beach in Oxnard on Thanksgiving.

I just like to throw things out there for my friends up north who piss and moan to me about the weather when I talk to them.  I know some of them are in here reading this.

There really is something fun about watching a game in the rain though.  One of my favorite memories from college was being with one of my roommates on a soggy couch in the south endzone watching David Russell run for like 230 yards against Whitworth.  We were the only people on a couch in the endzone that day and people thought we were crazy.  Every time we sat down the water would soak through our pants.  It was just pissing out but we had a great time.  When you grow up in Seattle you stop caring about a little rain, it just comes with the territory.

Check your messages about lunch.

I actually grew up in San Marino and then went to LC.  After graduation, I went to USC for grad school and then bought a house in Monrovia 3 years ago.

What's your story?
Monrovia Cat,

I (A Mt Union Grad/fan) lived in Monrovia for several years after college in the mid Eighties after several more moves I came back home to the Midwest.  I would love to see a MUC/Linfield Stagg bowl.

Wow, some people got fired up about that. ;)

I was just joking.  I do miss the rain though.  Sometimes I just want rain so some of the smog can be washed away.  I'm becoming a wuss.  It is like 65 out today and I had a heavy coat on earlier!

Are you kidding? I love winters here! Sure beats back east. I have family back there and I can't take it for more than a week. They get snow in feet not inches. You go out, spend an hour shoveling the driveway (only to have the snowplows bury it again before you can leave), pray your battery has one more shot in it, spend twenty minutes in the biting cold scraping off the windows, and all this for a five-minute trip to the store.

They might think I get a lot of rain but I have never once had to shovel the rain off my truck.
{Clever sign-off goes here.}
