As far as running backs go you have to seriuosly consider Rector as one of the best in recent years to come through the Catdome.  That guy had sick balance...never have seen someone get hit as hard or deliver a big blow and keep his balance so well.  Also a classy person...Mr. Humble.

Dens,

The Webcam has been off since the first game of the playoff.  Someone on this site mentioned that the NCAA may have made them turn it off.  I have no idea and cannot understand why they would have "heartburn" for something that doesn't show "live" action but rather a still shot 30 seconds after it happens.  Maybe the right call to someone who knows something could get them to turn it back on.

'64.....the people who deal with the webcam might be considered to be...... *kinda busy*.... right now.   That webcam is hardly a priority....not when I see people working in the complex on Sundays and well into the evening in order to do a first class job of hosting playoff games.

Give 'em a break.....

Bubs,

Joe Rector was awesome.  I forgot about him till your post.  What years did he play?  I want to say like  1995 or so....
Go Cats!

MCAT-
My freshman year was the fall of 1995, which was his senior year.

That sounds right.  I was a freshman in 94 so I guess I saw him play for 2 years!
Go Cats!

You also need to remember how good Carl Haberberger was.  If Carl didn't blow out his ACL real early his Senior year vs. Whittier he would have wound up being Linfield's 2nd all time leading rusher (he was only 266 yards behind Drake Conti and would have finished his career behind Ad Rustchman) and at the time he would have captured Linfield's all time rushing TD holder.

Rector- 5 td's in a game is pretty dang tough.

I am a classy person. Very classy. Very, very classy.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Thank-you 64,
I knew there was no officially sanctioned NCAA game TODAY so I wanted to see what was what.

And for you Mr. LBC,
I will deal with you when I catch you not lookin' in the rain Fri or Sat and supply a well-placed a noogie to your skullcap. I even volunteer to take tickets or whatever is needed. Because, after all.....

We ARE a kinder, gentler WILDCAT NATION.

It could be because the Cats practice on the field and someone could spy on them. Just a thought.

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Has anyone else been having a hard time being focused on anything but the game?
It needs to be sat. right now. ???

And for you Dens...you'll get a double one back for having the audacity to think that the athletic department owes you a camera to watch practice with.

I know Kelly Bird will have a laugh at this  ;)
