A great year for the 'Cats. 11 wins, NWC title, finally beat SJU after all of these years, just ran into a team with exceptional talent that was on fire offensively.

Congrats Cats on a freaking great 2021. 2022 will be promising if we can find a trigger man for our offense.

Interesting stats:
                    M-HB     Linfield
Points             49             24
Yardage         538           472
Passing          403           442

1.   Crusaders passing offense was a big surprise.  Their game plan was exceptional; they figured out how to score on us.   Difference was they completed too many long passes.   If we held them to 244 yards passing (their season average), a much different score.

2.   They scored lots of TDs.    We didn't.

Despite this last game, it was a great and fun Linfield season.  Thank you, Wildcats.

Linfield coaches, the recruiting job you did since 2019 was outstanding.   This was a superb group of freshmen and sophomores.

Looking forward to 2022.

The passing attack wasn't a surprise to anyone in Cru Nation. We've been watching these guys ball out all year. #D3Probs not being able to see highlights of other teams. Brandon Jordan is a beast. Brenton Martin is just coming into his own. KJ Miller is probably the best all around athlete we have. If you saw the game against HSU, you would know we are very strong in the passing game. Oh, and our tight end, Ruckman, gets lost in the shuffle, but he is $$$!

Linfield was going to get their passing yardage, and the big plays are something we need to clean up for next week, but I don't think UWWs QB is as good as Smith.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

I wasn't surprised by the ability for the cru to make plays on the ball offensively. It was my biggest worry going into the week that was unfortunately realized.

Congratulations to Lindfield on a great season. You ran into a buzz saw today.

did you get some good bbq while in town?
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

We got a plate when we first pulled into town.  Can't recall the name but they stayed open late for the team.  It was a great meal.

UMHB is the best hosting school of any we've ever been too.  First class and accommodating all the way, just wish that team wasn't so damn good.

But there's the rub. If they're not that good, you don't get to come and take part in the hospitality

I thought of a lot of words I could have used to respond to this. I'll go with "uninformed". I look forward to hear your opinion Saturday night.

And I'm not going too much out on a limb and say UWW's defense will be better.

Plus the weather will help.... it's going to be in the low 30s, 20 mph winds and 60% chance of snow. That's some nice home cooking WI weather there.  8-)

Anyone that may want to pitch in, a senior Linfield LB was hospitalized due to an injury late in the UMHB game and is currently still in Texas
