Bingo.

I'm putting them back as people ask about them and as I have time. It's not like there are five or 10 people affected -- there are about a hundred. Please be patient.

Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

I kind of like being back down around 50 posts. It erases most of my tracks. I don't need my wife or my employer knowing how much time I spend around these parts.  :D

Me too and we're really in trouble now if you look at your profile you can click on statistics and it breaks down how many by the hour and your average per day!!  I'm FIRED for sure!!

Hello all to my NWC brothers, so can anybody give me the lowdown on Whitworth? Is it going to be another 100 point shootout when my Dawgs come to the Pinebowl? I wish I could make that one.

Well, I will be at the Redlands/Trinity game at the Runner. DensLA, let me know if you can make it. We can throw back a few frosty's.

Looking forward to the season, it can't be almost ten years since I was in camp? Time goes by real fast, getting old.

bluenote

Pat...unlike TuxGuys piddly 350 posts, I beleive I had about 5783 posts, counting the ones on the Midwest Board. I'd like them back when you have time!

Wow, this new board is interesting.  Thanks for keeping us challenged Pat.  We never want to get too comfortable!

RFB, the game in the Pine Bowl should be interesting.  The Pirates have most of their skill people back on offense.  While only two starters are back on the line, a lot of guys got playing time last year, so the new starters will have experience.  I expect the defense to be better with a second season in the system and seven starters back.  How do you expect Redlands to adapt with a new QB and RB in the first game?  It seems that recent history has shown the Bulldogs to start slowly - can that be different with several new starters?

Willamette should be the only NWC team that has begun practice.  Others will be checking in this weekend.  Any word out of Bearcat land?  Anyone seen early workouts?

C'mon Bluenote, you are too humble. I remember you leaving 10,000 in the dust a whille back!

Dens, I'm with you. I will be in the remedial class when it comes to putting up graphics on this sight. However, you will always go down as having made THE FIRST post (after PC, of course) on the NWC board. Sweet.

I like that some posters have had to go back to their original names to get onto this board (or maybe did it on purpose). It gives this new board an old school feel.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

WOW...This new Board is wonderful if I can just figure out how to use all the bells and whistles.
GO CATS.....let the fun begin! :D

Actually, UPS started with practice today, well techniqually yesterday (Thursday). I wasn't able to check them out, but not much could have been reported with practice only in helmets.

Without a doubt the Rats will be challenged this year especially early in the season. It will take a lot of hard work and maybe a few breaks along the way for them to get back to the 2004 level.  They may have 14m/l starters returning but they have had key losses at critical positions i.e. offensive line where they need to replace 3 of 5; linebacker where they need to replace 3 of 3; and wide receiver where they need to replace 2 of 4.

My research indicates, Redlands also has lost many key players and like the Rats have 14m/l starters returning. According to their "Outlook", it looks like the Dawgs were able to replace some of their losses with transfers. That should help.

As to the game with Redlands, both teams have a little different makeup and character than last year, and I would be very surprised if there is anywhere near 106 points scored in the game. But, I hope it will be similar to last year's game in one respect with the Rats getting the breaks at the end to win the game.

Redlands will be strong at receiver and the offensive line. They have a returning qb that has game experience from last year and also some solid transfers. They should be ok at running back with a highly touted transfer from Utah.

As for the defense I am not sure how they will be personel wise. They did bring in a new defensive coordinator and I am interested to what schemes he brings to the table.

Yes, Redlands has traditionally started very slowly to begin the season. I am hoping they can buck that trend this year. I look for a very exciting game opener at the Pinebowl, never an easy to place to play form what I hear.

Hello.  I've been a regular visitor to d3football.com for a few years now but I'm new to the boards... just thought I'd stick my head in and say "hi."

Three weeks and counting until kickoff 2005. The high school boys on Friday, listening to the Cats on line Saturday afternoon, and the JC Saturday evening. It's getting close!!!

DT48..Borchart had a nice day last year.  259 yds passing.  With Gulley and two other dbacks gone, shouldn't SP be able to move the ball through the air?  SP's big line ought to be able to give Borchart some time.  If SP can find some receivers you might be in for a game.
