I did have a mistype! I apologize.

The Whit/Reds score is interesting. Maybe whit is not as potent as 1st considered.
If plu loses to cal luth then they may be in for a long season.

It is raining very hard in Monmouth.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

spiritof86

wou gets the opening kickoff and moves for a bit until the punt is forced.
Daryl is making "Eve" get scores. WE DO NOT CARE. NOT AT ALL. I am on the 'net, I can check them. If I am at the game, I do not care about anything but the 'cat game.

RFB

Whitworth 28  4th quarter
Redlands   13

Redlands fumbled inside the Whitworth redzone after a long drive.

Whitworth driving into Redlands territory.

RFB

Cal Lu should be strong this year, most of their team is back from last year and they ended the season with six straight wins.

Halftime score:

UMHB  38
WU      10

Of note with the halftime score, announcers just said that all but five of the kids suited up for the game have already played in the first half.  Willamette's scores came on two turnovers on the 20 and 13 yard line.
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

Yeah, I was just basing my thoughts on Cal Luth and PLU with what I read in the preseason publication. But, I had thought plu might be down this year. I still hold a grudge from '99 when they spanked us bad and would like to return the favor.

i was not insulting the bdogs, just wondering where this amazing Rat offense is....

Linfield scores again. Elliott to Allen. Allen is Rice.

News on the Lewis and Clark situation:  Conference call of all NWC athletic director's on Tuesday.  All options on the table including rescheduling entire NWC season!  It sounds like these schools really want to fill these dates so some sort of reshuffling is probably going to happen.

the wu/umhb score is what i expected. Uhhmhub is good and wu is obviously not.

Whitworth drove 80 yards to the four yard line and Redlands came up with a huge interception. Way to go Dawgs, still not out of it.

spiritof86

I cannot see what the conf would do. No team will schedule the 'cats this late and what else is feasible? Playing two teams twice? L&C can suck it.

RFB

Wow, Redlands QB blindsided and Whitworth picks up fumble and rumbles to the six yard line. That might be it, lets see if Redlands can hold.

spiritof86

Whitowrth is especially hurt by losing the L&C game.

wou is driving. They are at the 'cat 29.

They will probably get a personal foul soon though.

RFB

Whitworth touchdown

Whitworth  35
Redlands    13

Redlands with three costly turnovers. Whitworth has an outstanding team, should be interesting what they can do against Linfield.

spiritof86

They do get us in the ConeDome.

When was the last time Whit beat Linfield???? A long time.

I agree that L&C can suck it, but I think that they figure out a way to get another game somehow.  They'll probably play a conference opponent twice.  That might hurt the conference's playoff hopes since Linfield will very likely hang 2 L's on whoever they play.
